Crop King bad seed may end up working to my advantage

I traded some seeds and ended up with 1 x Sour Diesel from Crop King. Plant is end of week 8 and looks awesome.
Mind you I don't play with autos. Just some 2cents on their 1 plant I grew out from them.

@Doug Dawson I have had mixed experience with Nirvana and Sensi. Best of luck, hope you get a great plant and super pheno.

I am finding as the years go on, regardless of breeder or company some plants just don't produce good progeny.
Just like humans, some are smarter, faster and better looking than others.

Good Karma to all growers!

Thanks. I suppose it will always be a crap shoot when it comes to seeds, they are living things after all. I think all we can do is try to minimize issues by going with reputable folks. Genetics is one thing, horrible customer service is not excusable IMO. That is the main reason for no more Crop King for me. Their lack of concern over taking my money and not giving me what they sold me is disgusting. That and today being the 6 month mark for this never ending plant. I may lose some of my anger once this plant is finally gone but in the mean time I just need to get it to the end out of principal, lol. I did much research on seed breeders and for every one I find where people talk them up there is always someone else with a bad experience so it's tough to know who to go with. In the end I ended up with Nirvana and Sensi since they were the ones with what I wanted, Shiva Skunk and Maui Waui. A bit old school but they were 2 of my favorites so I wanted to give them a go.

Thanks for the positive vibes, much appreciated. May your tent overflow with Sour Diesel soon. Take care. :bigjoint: :peace:

Be careful with the Maui Waui, grew it a few years ago. Was crazy tall...and I grow lots of sativas. I suggest mainlining to help keep the height reasonable.

That is the plan and will be my first attempt at it. The Shiva has a flower time 3 weeks shorter than the Maui so it should be interesting. Just got notification my new HLG 600 light has arrived and will be going into a 4x4 tent for this next grow. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

That's what I hear, they were in Canada so I went with them but seem like it is about giving away silly buttons and flashy packaging more than seeds.
Crop King is not a breeder but rather just a distributor, who are excellent at marketing but just fail to provide consistent product.

Crap King is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.....and sometime they have serious crap

That being said, this year I grew a few of their auto-fems and had good luck with the Early Miss (right) and the Revolver (left).

Also grew a pair of Dwarf Low Flyers......one was great, the other was an ugly duckling
