Critical kush, Blue cheese or Black D.O.G?

Hey guys

I am planning my next grow and can't decide which strain to start with. I have in mind Critical kush from Barneys, Blue cheese from Barneys or Black D.O.G from HSO.

I know that Barney gets a lot of hate but I have his Liberty haze 30 days flower and its the biggest and heaviest plant in the tent. Also the smell is amazing so far.

Anyway, which strain do you guys recommend?

From what I've seen of other member's experience with it I'd say go for that Black dog!

Barney's isn't in the best of standings with most members here due to past experience, like mine with pineapple chunk. PC was sold as an indica but I got 2 very long flower sativas and nothing close to pineapple.

But I've heard the black dog is very nice and as described.

I will add a third vote for Black DOG, it is at the top of my list for HSO gear, from grows I have seen. I think HSO Is pretty solid, all in all.

I grew Barney’s Blue Cheese twice, it was okay. Really good flavor, nothing else worth writing about. I would grow Dynasty’s huckleberry variations a hundred times before I grew it again.

I agree. For easy to grow, high production, and good potency HSO is hard to beat. I think I've grown all their gear at one time or another. I have Blue Dream, Sour Blueberry, and Truthband going right now. I miss the Black D.O.G and will have to work it back in eventually.

Ooh, Sour Blueberry is on my radar, I look forward to seeing your results! They are pretty inexpensive, if I remember.

Thanks for all the quick replies, I guess I will be ordering Black D.O.G soon!

Good to hear that you grew it, how was the grow and the yield?

Also, what was your favorite sativa from HSO aside from blue dream.

All I can say is Critical Kush is the only strain that refuses to be thrown out of my room. It yields great, and is a really nice frosty monster. The only other stuff I grow is Bodhi, and the Bodhi gear kicked out a lot of nice stains, only CK remains and still rules the RDWC...

I just finished a critical Kush from barneys and a Masterkrush and 707 truthband by HSO. The Critical kush yields very well but not much of a smell or look to it IMO. the HSO stuff smells way better, much frostier, and tastes much better. I think you'd be happier with the Black Dog.

The HSO Blue Dream is not a real sativa in my opinion. It seems like a 60/40 hybrid to me, but it's good smoke. I love the Purple Trainwreck. Lost my mother plant and just planted regular Trainwreck since I had seeds. I've yet to be disappointed with HSO.

Super easy to grow. I like to veg for six weeks or so and put into a 7-10 gallon pot for flower, and I get around 3 oz with no popcorn. Someone doing hydro with better lighting than I have could do much better. I crowd my room and use movers to stretch my lighting which kind of hurts the yield per plant.

I lost my purple wreck too, love that taste! That would be my recommendation for a Sativa leaning hso bean.
