Unless you're after an endless Israel/Palestine situation where everyone has done so much shit for so long that there is no longer a clear "good guy" in the story, then you just have to let all that old shit go and deal with the task at hand. If you're carrying bitterness because one side did whatever however many years ago, then sure, russia in invading the Ukraine because america made them do it.

There is always overlap of things that seems to be in conflict, in every situation, no matter what. If profits are a problem, then let's get rid of all vaccines because some big corps made money along the way. OR, you could allow some overlap because maybe the right thing and the wrong thing align sometimes.
Huh? What do Israel or vaccinations have to do with Russia and the Ukraine?

It must be nice to live in a world that you can just say shit and have people pretend like it is true. It doesn't make it true, but ignorance is bliss.

I guess my posting this a page ago didn't happen, and your sweet propaganda narrative with your childish names of news networks that are not 'left-troll' enough for you is not complete horse shit.

But oh-well, here it is again. Feel free to continue to ignore that a actual study of the NATO expansion lie that Putin is pushing doesn't have any actual basis in reality.
Understanding the motives of one's competitors is foundational to knowing the whole story.

It was Gorbachev and it was verbal. It was in the news of the time. There was no treaty and the West took maximum advantage of that fact.

Understandably, Putin is no longer willing to take America's word for much of anything and no one can blame him.

Next is he going to tell us that it was ok that Russia is spreading poison around in other countries to assassinate people, because Putin said they didn't do it?

I explained it.

The Israel/Palestine parallels to US/Russia, where if you're stuck in "but he thtarted it!!!" bitterland, then no problems are ever addressed.

The vaccination parallel has to do with overlap, meaning that it's okay to be for vaccines and against corporates profiteering, even though both things may be happening at the same time. The parallel being that it's okay to be for stopping a Ukraine invasion and be against resource manipulation, even though both things may be happening at the same time. The conflict of interest more accurately reveals itself when you don't do something, not when you do. When another country is being invaded and you do nothing because it's not profitable, that's when it's a problem.

Whoops; America DID promise not to expand NATO, or to put military bases in former eastern european countries.

Well, I guess that's like the nuclear deals with Iran, then; America is only "exceptional" in that it doesn't keep its promises, soooooo why should anyone negotiate with us in good faith?

The fuck are you even on, man? Not only did I say no such thing, straw man boy, but America has made a fucking habit of assassinating people- or have you conveniently forgotten about our drone strike against the Iranian general in Iraq a few years back, to name only one of them?

Only an idiot would say they can't do it but we can.

Nice, so you were not going to deny it, you were just going to 'what about' it.

Shit even the Native Americans got that shit in writing so that they know it was broken and not just going off of feels.

What slays me is that you clowns talk all this right wing shit ignoring the facts and the history of the situation-

-And then turn around and expect to be taken seriously as educated and open minded liberals!

Bunch of fucking hypocrites, that's what y'all are!

LMFAO

enjoy your ignorance because there's obviously no getting through to any of you.

I'll bet you idiots still think Assad used chemical weapons in Syria, don't you? LOL

I also talk all this 'left-troll' shit.

Because that is the scam that the attack on our democracy is, any side of any issue being manipulated in real time by trolls owning the narratives.

But I guess when you can just make shit up and move the goal posts (like you did by ignoring the actual paper I linked/posted looking at both sides of the NATO/Russia debate and now moving onto Syria) it really doesn't matter.

You're doubling down on "it's okay for us but not for them" and somehow you still expect to be taken seriously.
Because you said so?

I really am not worried about some random troll account online taking me serious. Especially when they are just pushing a pro-Russian narrative like it is their job.

Lol you ignored the article I posted verifying the existence of the Russia NATO deal but then try to paint me as a troll... because I disagree with you. I brought receipts; it's not my problem if you can't read them.

If that's the best you can do, I'll let you be. You're clearly not qualified to have an adult conversation.

By article do you mean the youtube propaganda video, or the Rueters article about Putin's speech?

lol at your 'receipts'. Shit is about as legit as someone pulling a return scam at Home Depot.

Because you said so? All you have done is push bullshit Russian propaganda today and act superior when it got called out for what it is.

FWIW, the US isn't NATO. The US can't make decisions for NATO. The US promising to "take measures to prevent further eastward expansion" just means they voice their opinion against it. It's not like NATO has a congress and the US has some dominant/controlling majority of representatives.

Scroll up again...

But obviously you won't let pesky facts get in the way of your assumptions so I leave you to it.

Of course Putin gets everything he wants, that is what dictators do with their state sponsored propaganda.
He HAS too invade.
There is an argument made that Russia would face annihilation because of simple troop size & the Russians know that
Never fucking happen & they don't give a fuck anyway. (ask Napoleon/Hitler :) )
They have enoiugh ground troops in postion to overrun Ukraine in maybe a week
I say less.
We won't even be in position for a month
By the time NATO/USA responds to Russia's invasion, it's over.
Look at the history of the Russians as far as repelling invaders/warfare in general.
They have NEVER lost & they think Ukraine is a part of Russia, therefore they don't give a fuck.
They feel oppressed and that's all it takes & Putin is playing that card
You think he gives a fuck about casualties?
I really doubt it

It really doesn't matter Russian propaganda trolls are going to troll. That is what they do. The con is endless, and boring.

And what every happens, happens. And it is on the Russian dictator to make the move or not.
