Yes, that driver puts out 1.05A (1050mA ) and can run 4 or 5 vero 18 in series. Each led will draw ~30w because the forward voltage is 29.5v and current is 1.05A.

Yes, a great driver for running multiple V18s in series!

the 185 driver is 93% when using 110 volt input.
when using 230/277v, the 185 maxes out at ~95%.
120 is is 92% with 110v input, 94% using 230/277

As far as performance, not much of a difference DonP. There are tiny variations between the two products but nothing significant that I can see from comparing the data sheets.
The physical properties differ greatly though. The APC is more compact and is lighter. It's the reason I chose it for my current lighting setup. An 84% is a B in college. I'm happy with a B for now. In the meantime, I'll work on getting A's.

you have to pay customs. it usually is a bit more than the price you alkready paid for the items.. For example lets say that my order is 100 euros, i may pay 120-150 at the customs.... it is not cool at all...

@stardustsailor - yep, for me too! i'm looking for 8x pieces of Veros29, instead of CXA3070AB's.
Will do - 2x COB in each cab, four cabs together, some will be larger, so Veros could be driven harder...
Otherwise they all will be driven at 1.4A.
So i really don't know - maybe i should take all CXA's or VEROS
Now i'm pretty f'cked up ;D

You can't go wrong with either brand or series. I still think there should be a third company that offers similar products at similar costs.

if for example someone that I know sends a letter to me with these cobs inside and writes gift will I avoid it? if you show to the customs that you did not pay for it, as a letter for example, is it possible to evade this procedure?

The language is turned to italian but you still pay the customs as the supplier is at US. THe just have the language of many countries, I think so.... Did you see that the have a European warehouse?

Try calling them and telling them about your situation. Who knows, maybe they will cut the customs, if any, if you tell them that you will be investing into their 'cause' in the future.
I'll be ordering from DigiKey.com from here on out most likely, as they got the supplier's craft down.
