Creating smell proof room check list

Ya I’m sealed.
I just scrub the air 24-7 with a 8” fan n 8” filter ,

The amount of light will determine your yield, if you want to do the 3 a light or better you’ll have to put them closerView attachment 4173509
Blows into my quest intake, like ram air for a car
Does it do a good job of keeping the smell down in the room? Also does some smell escape your room at all?

Ya works just fine, keeps the smell down a lot . you can’t smell anything till you open the door , then it’s just a little, when you got your face in the plants . If I don’t run it, every one that comes over would know what’s up.

Very nice man, there's a guy on ig right now that has 5 can filters and he says it still gets stinky when it gets close to harvest. He's in a sealed room too. I just need to make sure it''s virtually smell free. I'll be moving to a new location and where I'm at now the smell isn't bothering anyone but when I move the smell has to pretty much non existent. I am going to get a bunch of filters to put in the room and keep the ozone going outside whenever I'm there and working.

Oh shit that's a silencer, I thought it was another inline filter hahah
I run perpetual and am only harvesting 25% of the room every 2-3 weeks , so my setup is enough for me, you said you plain on running 3 . if your worried about it, you could up to 10” filters and just reduce to 8”.
Just paid attention to the filter specs, and stay within the cfm guide lines for each filter, so your not pulling or pushing to fast or to slow.

No one mentioned it but having low smelling strains would also make things much easier. Strains like the northern lights, power plant or some piney, woody indicas such as some Lebanese varieties.

Having a sealed room is also great. However, not only will you need extra CO2 but you will also need to keep the heat under control with AC Units.

Good luck setting up your room buddy. ;-)

Thanks for the insight man, but low smelling strains are no fun but i know it's about balances.

I would be running a 12” exhaust sucking through the big can filter and and open 8” in the other side of the room. Every bust I read about here in Denver starts with the neighbor complaining about smell.

If your now going to setup a intake, passive or otherwise then u gotta add CO2

Yeah the smell is the biggest and obvious indicator that someone is growing. There still busting people in Denver?

Why do carbon filters have to be exhausted to work at effectively? Everything I have read says that it works better than just having the filters in the room if it's a sealed room.

They are busting folks in Denver harder then they have been ever. The biggest grow companies like livewell are helping to fund the new task force focused on eliminating home growers. They are using power bills and anything they can to get in.

Usually get a ticket for being over the count the first time if your not to out of control. They raid the whole house though so if they find the headstash you could be looking at some trouble.

That's so fucked up, I think I seen a video awhile ago about livwell. The owner was walking around the grow site in his suit. It's a shame these people are taking over the industry. In Cali all the licensed people are ratting out the others as well.

I made a post about this a little while ago. The big corps will take over once it gets nation wide and push all small time and homegrowers back into the hiding black market days. They will lobby for laws to protect their huge gains and putting all competition out of business or in prison. Watch.
