Creating seed stock from autoflower

Hello everyone, newb question; assume a person has three autoflower seeds that are not feminised. Can a person simply grow out all three, hope one is male one is female and let them pollinate themselves to produce a seed stock. In addition, if the person were lucky to have two fems and one male and remove one of the fems for flowering, how sealed off (or far away) from the male should it be?

Question one answer is yes.

Question two answer is block it off or different room. Just dont get pollen on you or make sure pollen cant get to your plant.

It would be better to take your male seperate it remove pollen yourself and pollinate just a little spot on your female

First off, thanks for the quick response. In regards to collecting the pollen, if this assumed person hypothetically was only able to grow out one in a small space for the time being (during GR construction) but doesnt want to lose too much more time, any idea how long that collected pollen would be good for and best way to keep it? can be kept for up to 9 months ive heard. best kept in the fridge.

Also if your going to polinate her she will focus making seeds instead of bud. So your bud quality wont be great

Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, in terms of generating seeds. One more question I would have would be; if one plant were grown out from seed and it ended up being a female, if there is no male plant around will the female contain any seeds? Thanks for the help.

No it wont. Unless its a hermie

female needs male pollen to creaate seeds
i would collect pollen from a grow start another grow and dust a female
you need 3 to 6 weeks for seeds to mature

i deffinatly would not leave 2 femals to pollenate them on their own way to many seeds and no good buds to smoke

i normally dust a branch or two of a plant and label it so rest of smoke is all that it can be if seeded smoke is about 85 % of all it can be if not seeded it is 100% of what it can be

pollen can keep for a while i dont know exactly how long but make sure you dry good before you store away in freezer and remove all vegatation holds moisture (moisture bad for buds , pollen , hash most smoke related items

i have an auto now in week 10 that must go to week 11 for seed development i dusted it late due to late pistil development i doubt if smoke will be any good but i have two plants jarred up already so it dont matter i need seeds my stock is way down and i always keep diesel ryders going on the side
