Chloroquine may not be the only malaria drug effective in fighting covid-19.
It's not proven to be effective, yet. Hydroxychloroquine is a better tolerated and a more effective zinc ionophore. These drugs were suppose to work in other viruses, in theory, but were not effective, caution is called for. There is no harm in doctors using these drugs in experimental treatments however, there are few ethical issues with this research, these drugs are proven safe for use in humans.

The information in this summary is both sobering and hopeful, if only... it does require time to read and digest though.

First, I am 68 years old and have been smoking cannabis for the last 10 years. Smoked cannabis and tobacco and consumed alcohol until I was 35, have not used tobacco or alcohol for 33 years.

If i get Covid-19 virus it would appear I am at high risk for lung problems. Other than the stuff I hack up every day from smoking I am in good health.

Bad information and tunnel-vision are worse for everyone then me catching this and either recovering or not. I want my Grand-Daughters to have a future, open your mind to all the other harm being done outside the virus realm. How much harm before lives are at risk, not from the virus, but from the hysteria (Thank you supreme leader Gavin Newsom).
Here is some science, the real stuff, Bullshit propaganda sites with an agenda call it the China or Wuhan virus, credible sources call it covid19 or coronavirus or a SARS/cov2 type virus that causes cov19. Propaganda serves those who create it, news serves the consumer and is intended as such, you are spreading propaganda not science. Here is what science and reliable high quality information look like. Start at #32 and work your way up to #35 The science is in the links to papers and sources, this guy gives context and a play by play view from the inside of the deadly game, explained in everyday language.

Coronavirus Pandemic Update 41: Shelter In Place, FDA Investigates Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19

Governor Newsome of California has ordered a statewide “shelter in place” which affects 40 million people. President Trump made a statement about hydroxychloroquine getting FDA approval, but the FDA clarified that more clinical trials are needed first. Dr. Seheult discusses a Japanese influenza medication called Favipiravir (Avigan) that shows promising preliminary results, but cautions more trials and peer-review are needed.

Apologies as this is a bit bro but it’s still science: resveratrol has been written up in peer reviewed papers as having anti viral action, obviously I’m not suggesting it as some sort of cure but it would make me want to want to gargle with some red wine as it looks as though the virus builds in the throat before it enters the lungs. Hot drinks would also help.

I recommend gargling with rum or vodka, more effective than mouthwash. Why not, sounds like a reasonable hypothesis, it's not like we're recommending gargling with bleach, though that does whiten teeth too... :D

Simple 3% Hydrogen Peroxide disinfects. Diluted, plants love it, like rainwater. I use it a lot and buy the 35% food grade. It sterilizes knives and sponges, wash your veggies and meat with it. Diluted, of course. It goes a long way. I dilute with distilled water, but you can use any water, just use it immediately. Be very careful with it, it will oxidize your skin and sting. Wear gloves to avoid splash.
