It's been a while since I've been to the JP and KP patches. As dry as it's been, I know they are hurting for a drink, but I just haven't found the time to get back there. They are two of the hardest to get to, and had the least amount of care. I'm going to try to get to one of them in the morning.

I did a speed run to the KP patches this morning. I chopped the 2 CP1's and the Slo2 in KPe. I will have to look back and see how long it had been since I carried water to them, but it was too long. This is the worst looking one, but the others didn't look much better.

And this Slo2 had it's stem cut. Must have just happened, as it still looked good. It was a couple three weeks from finishing. I left one lower bud. Not because I planned on it, but I already had everything in my pack, and my pack on my back when I noticed it.

RIU is having serious picture posting problems. I've been trying to get this up for like 10 minutes. Let me try again.

Edit: Now I see I posted several copies of the same shot. Sorry about that.

My buddy is doing a little job for me, and he came over after work yesterday to see what he needed. He dropped me {and my pack with 4 gallons of water} off near the JP patch. It saved me 3/4 of a mile, so I was able to get out of the woods by dark.

I pulled one and one of the small deer ate ones had died. That leaves 2 in the patch, {so they got 2 gallons each}. I was rushing trying to get my gear together and forgot my camera, but I did take this shot this morning. Pretty sure these plants are all GV1's, but I will check back to make certain.

All the plants in the JP patch are GV1's. At least one of which I dusted with CP1 {BP#2} pollen. I didn't see any seeds in the plant I took down, so it must have been the other one.

My buddy came by my work on his way out of town for the weekend. I was telling him about taking the GV1 down yesterday, and he ask me how many more I had still out. I told him seven or eight, but after he left I kept remembering more. So that got me to thinking. And I think I thought of them all. But when I get the chance, I will still walk through all the patches just to make sure. {I'll note the real runts}

2 GV1's in JP patch {1 runt, about an ounce}
2 CPDA's in ALe patch
2 CP1's in ALw patch
1 GV3 in PH patch {small plant. Won't make an ounce}
1 GV2 in PH patch {also a runt. Not enough sun in the big woods}
1 Slo2 in KPe patch {a deer ate plant. About an ounce and a half}
2 Slo2's in KPw patch {about like the one above}
1 CP1 in BP patch
1 BP in SOL patch
1 {hermie} 88 in GV patch
1 younger {hermie} 88 in Slo patch
1 older 88 in Slo patch
1/3 of Hurricane Head left in FP patch
1/3 of Peach left in FP patch

Looks like 16 and 2/3rds left in the bush. But six of those are of no account and another two are hermies. So 7 or 8 was pretty close to right.

I forgot the GV2 in the GB patch.

Got out before work and took food and water to the SOL, GV and Slo patches. Had to clip a bad bud off the BP in the SOL patch. I took a little of the larf off the lower branches too. It's coming along.

Last week in my haste to strip the yellow leaves off the CP1 in the BP patch, I broke off this bud. This morning when I was going through everything in the drying shed, I set it aside to smoke. Taste not there yet, but was very stony for early bud. Also got four good seeds. {CP1 male BP#2 X CP1 female BP#3}
