couple questions on shrooms

so ive been doing a bit of research on growing some shrooms, and i had a few questions that weren't all that clear to me (couldn't find much with search, so i apologize if a few had been asked already):

A. after harvesting, if you let them continue in the same conditions, will fruiting just continue? i.e. can i just keep harvesting off of the same substrate bricks.
B. some confusion on the aborts. are they still edible? less potent? good for tea? id hate to think that they would just be wasted.
C. and this is more precise, but does anyone know of any head shops in the Montana/Idaho area that sell spores? or alternatively, a reputable site with discreet shipping (i realize they are legal but i still would rather it be discreet).

thanks again for any tips!

A. Yup. That's what they call "a flush". Harvest everything and then they grow again a few more times. Some say 2-3 flushes, some say up to 6, all depends on how the spores are and how nice life is.

B. Aborts are extremely potent. Keep em and sell them for more. :) More potent = super trip!

C. ralphstersspores.com is the best out there. Grab his Weekender pack for a good assortment. Dont buy spores101.com -- they were raided by drug enforcement for growing shrooms and marijuana back in November-ish. The site is still up and "taking orders". Pffft. ;)

awesome! i figured right on a 'flush' i guess. i had assumed it probably depended on how fast the particular strain ate the nutrients available from the substrate. and thanks for the tip about ralphs and 101! was just gunna be happy about the response, but i think that calls for a +rep =D

thanks again!

the aborts are extreamly potent like kitty said... but you have to catch them before they start to rot

do they rot quickly/easily? whats the first sign of such rotting (iam betting it is distinguishable from the blue 'bruising')?

***** Aborts
Some of the pinheads will begin to grow, then suddenly stop before they become full-grown mushrooms. These are known as aborts (aborted mushrooms).
Aborts are the strongest mushrooms by weight. That is, a gram of aborts will get you more stoned than a gram of fully developed mushroom. From my clinical observations, by weight, aborts will get you two to three times more stoned than fully developed magic mushrooms.
But aborts must be picked before they begin to rot. A mushroom that has mold growing on it or which has black goo in the center of the stem is rotten and is not safe to eat. It is often difficult for beginners to identify an aborted mushroom before it begins to decompose.
Early warning signs include a halt in growth of the mushroom, and a greenish tinge around the dark colored tip of the primordia that will eventually become the cap of the mushroom.
Always completely remove aborts from the cake, even if they are too rotten to eat, because they can get moldy and cause the cake to get infected.
