Couple of Questions for growing, Need some answers, THX

I got a couple of questions
-I see little white hair furs not big ones but really furry ones on the stem and some on leaves but its only a little sticking out of only 2 leaves, Does this mean its a female tho? or do males get furry white hairs too? Just wondering.

-When should I start flowering my plant? I have 4 nodes right now and about to grow a new node. Can I flower now? Will the plant still grow in flowering stage? I wish I had pics but webcam dont work right now

you can pretty much flower at almost any point past a foot. The "white hairs" called pistils are an indication of female. If male you would see sack like balls. I read, Ed Rosenthal and Jorge Cervantes, that you should flower at the point of shown sex. Where you are at. wish you the best of buds.
 
your plant has preflowered which happens in veg about 3-4 weeks into it( about a foot tall). Its a good idea if your growing from seed to wait for the preflowers but from clone you can flower at any time.hope this helps and goodluck
