Couple of basic question

Hi,
I've got a couple of hundred questions but I'll start slow with these:

Is a fan cooled 400 watt HPS a good sized light for a 9 sq ft (3' x 3', height to be determined later) grow chamber?

What is the max/min height from that light for a srog?

Is more better when it comes to CFM (say 250 for example) for cooling that light or is there a point of overkill?

Are inline duct fans good for light cooling?

I'll hold at those for now, thanks for reading.

If you have proper ventiliation out of the grow chamber then an air cooled 400 watt should be fine. With my air cooled 400 watters i can keep them 7-10 inches away from the tops. In my opinion the more CFM you can pull, the more heat you can pull. and yes inline duct fans are good for serving that purpose. Hopefully this helps, if you have any more questions man just feel free to ask

Thanks that helped a lot. My plan is for a 5' high OSB (chipboard) cabinet. I figure to use a 3" air space between top of light and top of chamber, a solid mounted Easy Cool 6 reflector at 8" deep, 10" between bottom of light and top of bud, 8" bud, 6" between screen and top of growing pot, 7" grow container, 1" space for eggcrate shelf and 7" runoff container for a total needed height of 50". That give me a "fudge factor" of 10 ". Screen is attached to scrog container, so I can move the scrogged plant up or down as needed. At 4' x 8', I should be able to build the chamber out of 3 OSB sheets.
