Garden Boss suggested I start a thread on my gardening this year. The first pic speaks for itself. The 2nd pic is what I refer to as the Queen Bee in her infancy. All of my girls were started on May 5th or after(I said somewhere else the 9th but after looking at a calendar I stand corrected.). It was a last minute decision to garden this year. Hence the extra late start though I never was much on starting particularly early. Typically in the past I started things off in 3rd or 4th week of April. It's been 9 years since I last gardened. I always had a knack for success but never put the time and attention into it as I have this year. I use to do a lot of gardening in the midst of standing cornfields and soybean fields. However Roundup(puke) Ready Soybeans and Corn has made that much more difficult. Years ago when I was fresh out of High School I seen a documentary on farmers from Georgia who grew pot to supplement their incomes. Most of them tied their plants down for security purposes. I instituted that into my arsenal as well though strictly for security reasons not understanding that it would also spread the auxins(of which I knew nothing about back then) to all the branches and make for higher yields(in my experiences). The last year I gardened in 2005 it was a corn field grow in all locations.
On a personal note I crawl around on bridges for a living and if I'm working I'm traveling. Between that and a few other factors I have been on a 9 year hiatus from gardening. I love to fish, bow hunt whitetail deer, golf, pitch horse shoes, and play a lot of volleyball and softball/baseball with my kiddos. Just so you know I'm a bit of a cut up and bull shitter. If not for humorous sarcasm and goofy humor I'd be most miserable among men. At the much wiser and well rounded age of 40 i gotta say...I'm having an absolute blast!

I have always been a big fan of tie down(LST), topping, and FIMing. I will do any number of combinations or a single technique on any particular plant.

I'm not yet sure what strains I even have though it's likely origin is Afghan'ish, Kush'ish, Hindu'ish. I will find out next time I see the man who helped me out supplying approximately 100 seeds. It's top shelf herb. I have smoked weed grown by this family for years off and on as well as growed from some of their strains in years past. A close friend asked me what strain I was working with. I told him "Some Good Fucking Pot". It's got a nice ring to it.

I started my seeds in a bowl of water and put them in my kitchen cabinets. As the seeds started to swell and split they were put in little starter pots filled with potting soil. After anywhere from 1-2 weeks they were put to pasture. As of the start of this thread the beginning of my 2014 gardening started approximately 2 months ago. My gardening is spread out amongst 6 locations in a very private area. Enjoy and thank you for swinging by.:peace:bongsmilie

LOL on the elders. Ya I had only ever named one plant in my life before naming 5 of them this year..although The Dynamic Duo is actually 2 plants(you prob figured that out:o). That was Roxy back in 2005. She was an absolute beast. Sadly no pix of her but she lives on my mind:-D. Thank you dropping by RubyFruit. I'm about 2 hrs. past bed time. Peace out all:peace:

Well I got a nice rain last night. Have a little break from watering, this morning anyway. Here are some more photos of my little Beauty named Rose. I used fishing line attached to wire stuck in the ground to LST her last night. She's spread eagle and looking lovely this morning.:-D
