Could Use a little help here...

Hello all, noob here. Noob to rollitup, not to growing so much...but I am having a small problem that caused me to finally join this forum (had been reading it for almost a year now). Ive got a mother plant in soil that was being vegged under a shit ton of fluorescent bulbs. Using earth juice full line of nutrients (plus botanicare silica blast, and superthrive) every other feeding with straight water in between. The plant is approx. 30in high at this point, and is overall pretty healthy looking. During that time, i started to notice some bottom leaves and leaves that generally werent getting enough light starting to go dark green and becoming crispy. The plant was starting to become root-locked in its 1.5 gallon container, and I figured it wasnt getting enough light. So Ive now transplanted (with flush) to 5gal bucket and put her under 600w HPS. The tops are looking fantastic, but it does appear that the problem is staying constant and maybe even spreading slowly. I do pH balance to 6.5. So heres a brief list of symptoms:

Leaf tips become dark green and crispy
Sometimes the tips will curl upwards
On the rare occasion it spreads over a whole leaf, the side edges canoe downwards

Thanks guys! Any help would be greatly appreciated! I was thinking it might be related to the superthrive--I accidentally doubled the dose in my reservoir. Let me know what you think!

Hey Buds,

I'll give it a shot, Dark green to me means nitrogen. either the plant didnt need it or for some reason cant use it.
I could see the lower stuff drying out cause they are not getting enough light, but usually the plant will take the nitrogen and yellow the leaf. Leaf curl upwards is usually heat stress but canoe downwards sounds like over watering. How about a pic?

Thanks for the attempt on this one, cruzer. Yeah, I would totally take a picture except that ive already removed the leaves that were in too bad a shape. The ones with just the dark green crispy stuff going on is apparently too subtle for my crappy camera.

Dark green, I agree, is nitrogen overdose...but crispy dark green? I dunno. These are organic nutes im using as well, and theyre just on a normal dosage (and only every other feeding). So im kinda doubting its a nutrient overdose...unless its the superthrive? Ive heard of people having plant burn from overdosing superthrive, but I have no idea what that would look like :/

The way I understand it is if you give a plant too much superthrive it will stall visible growth and bust out a buncha roots.
Its very acidic too and will lower the pH.

FYI, ive figured it out. Its definitely Phosphorus deficiency. Saw some pics online of P def, and theres no doubt in my mind. I hadnt been paying that close attention to my P levels cuz im vegging here, but yeah, looks like I gots to boost it up. Thanks again for your help man!
