Could This Be Light Bleaching ? Need Help

a senile fungus

well I dont run organics so I think next watering I'll throw a tsp of hydrogen peroxide in my water then water. that helps with root rot etc.

I think this plant will be the best I've ever grown. last night I said screw it and spent 50 bucks on amazon.. I got fox farm big bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, cha ching and open sesame then I also got general hydros ph up and down and ph tester.. For the first time ever I will be able to ph my nutrient solution to 6.5

I have never ph'd anything on any of my grows so im hoping this will help me out. I also only ever used tiger bloom so I think the cha ching/beastie bloomz/open sesame and big bloom should help things out alot.

perfect too because its just now week 1 of flower so a great time to use the open sesame.

thanks for the help guys

You're using organic soil mix and worm casings and molasses, that's not organic?

Good luck bud!

Its best not to mix organics and chemicals. From here on out your soil is dead and you need to supplement. You will need to ph adjust your fox farm solution every time. I suggest you get a ppm meter to check for salt build up. You want to check some of the run off periodically and compare it to what you're putting in. When I used beastie blooms, chaching and open sesame I had problems and was shocked to see my ppms reading 150 x 10 when I was putting in 300 ppm. It took about 20 gallons of water to rinse that crap out.

I wouldn't be surprised if its some sort of Phosphorus toxicity that is locking Magnesium out...
really?

I havent used the beastie bloomz cha ching or open sesame yet. havent got it in the mail yet.

the only thing she has been fed since flowering switch was 1 tsp of tiger bloom and 1 Tbsp molasses... thats it

I do this... feed 1 tsp per gallon with tiger bloom.. next watering is plain water.. 1 tsp. tiger bloom... plain water.. repeat,, if later on she can handle it then 1.5-2 tsp tiger bloom.

Im gonna use the open sesame , beastie bloomz and cha ching at way lower rates then they say.. like 1/8 tsp etc.

I do thank you all for the help though.

I don't have a ppm meter but in the mail I do have general hydros ph kit coming that comes with ph up and down and test tube and ph solution so ill be able to get my ph to 6.5 for my first time ever since growing.

I never ph'd anything ever and this time i will so im sure that has to help.

I whole heartedly agree.. I dont have the time or space or money to get everything needed for a batch of good super soil.. plus no way to cook it now that its 21 degrees out side.

I'm not worried about build up either as I have florakleen and I used it on my trans siberian and its by far the smoothest best burning.tasting.smelling smoke i've ever grown to date.

Light burn will turn the leaves tan/beige/white. I'd say this is a pH issue. In soil, lower than 6 or higher than 7 and you lock out P and Mg which your leaf seems to show. I'm betting the pH is above 7 if using plain tap.

I'm pretty poor so i try to make each grow better and better and this time i went all out and bought 6 more nutrients and ph up and down and a vial to test ph

You'd do that plant a favor if you could put it in a bigger container. I hope you're in flowering mode now cuz it's pretty big. I think your ferting with the tiger bloom is happening too often. but I have no proof. depends on what's in your soil. The leaves look dark green in photos, so I'm guessing that you probably have enough fert in that soil. at least for a while anyway.

its been in flowering for about 10 days now. I was gonna transplant before flowering but It would have gotten even bigger and I cant let that happen.

I needed to keep the plant at this height due to height restrictions... Its not as huge as it looks just the 6 gallon bucket I grow in is pretty tall itself.

plant will finish a little over 3 feet tall which is the max i can let a plant go in my closet.. any further and you're talkin the mars 300 would only be like 4 inches above tops. I know for a fact that would bleach plants.. right now its 15 inches above plant.. most of the stretching seems to be done already which is great. I like to keep mars 300 at 10-12 inches above in flowering and i keep the 180 watt ufo at about 7-8 inches since it uses 3 watt diodes and has never burnt anything on me,

I've only used the tiger bloom 1 single time.. In veg (vegged 6 weeks) I only used dyna gro foliage pro 1 single time.

There is basically nothing at all in my soil.. My soil this go around I wanting to try something new for shits n giggles and it worked. I have the plant is a mixture of miracle gro seed starting mix cut with 30% perlite.. the seed starting mix is super super super light and airy and barley had any nutrients in it.. like .2 , .3 , .4 something like that.

thanks for the help.. All my stuff comes in today (ph up n down .. nutrients.) I'm just gonna give ph 6.5 water 1 more time before starting back on nutrients.

No one has really given you any help yet. The way you wrote your first post, it seemed like you were using more of the tiger fert even though you didn't say how much you were using. When people here say "none watering days," it appears there are fert days in there as well, implying that more fert is given. So that can be a little confusing.
If your leaves look as dark green to you as they do in the photos, I think you have a combination of fert issues. People have used miracle grow on this plant, but many times it seems to cause over fert problems. Also, adding more fert like tiger and especially foliar ferting might not have been a good idea. The most common mistake people seem to make in growing this plant is too much fert. People give fert just because they can and not because the plant requires it. Out of all of it, I'd say the foliar was the bigger mistake even though you say you only did it once. Miracle grow has fert and adding more can cause dark green leaves and leaf death, which seems to be what you're seeing there. Don't be afraid to transplant. Doing so will not necessarily cause the plant to grow too tall compared to a smaller container (though I'm sure it helps the plant do so). It's probably wiser to transplant, then cut the top of the plant early in its life to keep it short and bushy. It will also help to place lighting off to one side rather than overhead as this has been known to help prevent verticle growth and create a wider, bushier plant.

I'll keep all of this in mind.. ohh btw.. I never "foliar" fed anything.. I used "foliage pro" which is a nutrient you feed in the soil from dyna gro.

I gave water only yesterday and today all my fox farms stuff came in along with general hydroponics PH kit so I'll now be able to ph my nutrient solution.

Any reply on here is help to me. I'll just keep an eye on my plant.. Its looking better as of today.. white pistils are popping up all over the place.

miracle gro's regular potting mix sure it has time realsed nutes in high concentrations but their Seedling Formula has damn near no nutrients.. the NPK value of their Seedling soil is... 0.03 ... 0.03 ... 0.03 and that is like nothing.. I didnt give it anything for 5 weeks.. then i gave the plant 1 tsp of dyna gro's foliage pro (a veg nutrient)... then I waited till I flipped to 12/12 and gave it 1 tsp of tiger bloom.

I'm not trying to be a prick just saying I have not over nuted anything.. Im sure my ph has always been off because i never had a ph kit .. now that I do I will always give a nutrient solution of 6.5.

You have helped me even if you think you haven't.

cheers brother.

All right, well in the end let the leaf color speak to you, learn how to read the colors cuz they speak of the plants health. if they are dark green as they appear, maybe there is too much fert in there. good to hear that this looks better. just go easy and this should be okay.

Got the beastie bloomz.. open sesame and cha ching in yesterday and my GH ph kit comes tomorrow.. im only gonna give her 1/4 tsp of open sesame with 1 tsp tiger bloom then ph that mixture to 6.5... then it'll be straight water then small amounts beastie bloomz then cha ching. This grow will be better now that i can get my ph spot on.. the beastie blooms is good for color as well so maybe ill get some blue nugs
