Could this be a preflower?

Please tell me that this is what I'm looking for. They've been vegged for 5 weeks. And god damn they are hard to take pictures of, I need a new lens. I'm referring to that tiny thing in the center, it almost blends in with the stem in this picture.

hmmm well its kind of hard to tell. it could be new leaves coming in. if it is a preflower then you got yourself a female

Sorry bud, I wondered the same thing when I first saw that. If you look at a male plant, it has those same things.

Look closely at both those images...

that's a female preflower. i can clearly see the hairs.

I don't see them. Isn't he pointing to those things that can be found on both plants?

Ok...I see it now. Damn...had to stare hard at it...

LOL...he wasn't even pointing, those were leaves...
