Could it be over or under watering? High placement of rockwool?

ppm drives pH, not the other way around.
lol ok.. you take water, you add nutrients, that changes ph so you adjust ph to fit into the correct range that the plant absorbs them easiest.

If your ph is not in the correct range then having the correct ppm of nutrients is pointless. Since some of those nutrients will not be absorbed and will build up as salts causing further lockout of other nutrient.

ugh so pissed at myself.. spent a while carefully bending down all the stems last night and securing with garden tie.. right at the end, the main cola of the bubba snapped so easily.. now both plants have had their main cola fucked ><

switched to normal tap water to see if better results than ro. switched to 1/2/3 for nutes flowering stage, last week was transition to flower 2/2/2
kens 1230ppm/6.3 and bubba at 1110ppm/6.2.. going to check on them tomorrow, may lower ph then.
dont think ill be touching them anymore.. lowered the light a bit too
ive had to top off with plain water once so far, about 2-3 days ago. the bubba seems to drink a bit faster though.

yes sorry, that was from using Tap water instead of RO... I started that because I was worried about not enough minerals getting to the plants and also some brown rusting on older fan leaves.
I think I'm going back to RO and using this chart I found for GH nutes + cal mag schedule because this last week I noticed that the rusting seemed to get worse... I don't think my tap water is clean enough.
Also damn.. they are starting to drink a lot!! I've been topping off with water a few times now, but damn they are already starting to flower!! so cool!

only take pics in white light. can see colors in sodium. looking good from what I can see. take close up of leaves with brown spots. in a tent this could be the result of high temps, so try to keep the temp down when the light is on. this is why there are hoods with ducting and fans, to carry the heat away from the grow area.

sorry been trying, but i keep missing the clock and light flips on. I have it to come on at 8pm and off at 8am, so it's a little tricky.. just have to be prepared. I try to take the pic right before the lights come back up. and i do have that setup, IMG_0600.JPG the picture is from the beginning of the grow, so the old buckets are still in there, but i just wanted to show the hood/duct setup

but yeah the temps are very high. around 82 when lights are on... even though I have them turn on at 8pm, the cali weather has just been super hot and torching my babies.
im getting a very nice portable A/C from my friend soon and will be placing it right outside of the intake, so that should help a lot.. especially now in flowering, temps are very crucial.

i will put an alarm right now so i can take some better pics later tonight before lights come up, sorry about the shitty pics so far!

also when would you recommend moving the light up? i want to keep them as short as possible, so ive lowered it and kept it there but it's getting pretty close now

I think I would raise it if you think heat is causing a problem. brown spots can develop for a variety of reasons and temp is one. it's just a guess right now but it could be an issue in a tent pretty easily.

yes sorry.. work has just pushed me to edge recently.. super stressed out and no time for anything.
the bubba keeps growing and growing... one cola has been getting really tall and keeps growing into the light...
i tried securing it down, but she kinda shot back up.. gonna keep trying to safely secure it down/horizontally.. but almost out of space to raise the light!
