Could any of you folks help (2x2 area)

Hello folks, I have read a lot on here so far about what lights to pick and was wondering if the Area 51 rw75 would be sufficient for a 2x2 area with only a max of 3 feet for the plant to grow. I got a smaller tent to keep the male plants in and would like to keep heat and cost down as it's only for breeding.

Will that be enough juice? Also if you have any alternatives I am open to hearing them. I greatly appreciate what you guys do and I only ask that you don't advise DIY I don't have a garage or work space to build this. Also have no tools yet as I am just up on my feet out of the nest.

Thank you all and have a nice Tuesday.

The rw-75 is advertised to have a maximum of 24"x24" coverage with the recommended coverage being 20"x20". I'd say the rw-75 is a great choice for your situation. More than enough for male plants used for breeding in my opinion.

I was really hoping someone would agree. I know it will miss a little bit on the sides but as long as it will flower some male stallions I think I would feel more comfortable with a decent light than to use one of those eBay panels.

My cc only has 300 per day so I have to do it in one transaction which makes it near impossible for me to get their xgs or bigger rw.

Also since you were quite helpful would you mind telling me why these guys are posting the @ symbols? Did I post something wrong?

Mind letting me in on what you two are talking about? I'm seriously looking for some help here.

Sorry man, shouldn't have posted here. Don't know enough about the light you are talking about. Is it led?

I'll see if I can get someone with a little more knowledge to chip in.

Cool to link this thread elsewhere?

I would go with 400w hps. Its more cost effective. Imo. However if led is ur thing ive used blackstars and recommend them. Buy what u can afford

Of course, I am going to wait like 3 days to buy the led to make sure I get what's right for my needs.

Looking for an LED grow light that covers 2x2 area for breeding purposes. Trying to make more for myself and others who can't afford to get seeds shipped in. Lot of growers in the family.

Has to be under 300 unfortunately my card doesn't let me spend more than that yet. Hid is a no go as this house can't pull enough to run one. Also it's cold here so the temps are just right with led. Ceilings are low so hid also wouldn't be ideal.

I feel like I annoyed a few people here I just wanna apologize.

How much product are u lookin to generate buddy?

...and dont kowtow to anyone...its the internet...most of the members here are bots anyway

I am just looking to raise 1-4 small male plants, or 1 male plant and 3 clone size females with a week veg or so.

I have other flowering areas but this specific area I am looking to make a few seeds and keep it away from the others.

Don't get cheap ebay panels man just don't do it. I have no idea what the guys earlier are talking about or why they were acting strange. There are a few Chinese panels that I think could raise a few males but I still wouldn't recommend getting one. Yea maybe you can get one for $100 off ebay that can veg a plant and maybe grow a male but who knows when it'll fail on you...who knows how safe it is...and it definitely won't flower a female properly. My suggestion...get the tried and trusted Area 51 for only $215. You'd still be spending close to that for the Mars or vipar but not getting the quality that comes with area51. If you want to be sure about what you're getting that's my suggestion.

You would not have a problem with your height with either one of these lights..
