My plants are starting to preflower and my viparspectra p2000 light is set for 18/6, could a light leak during dark period be causing this? The only other thing I've done to them is top and lst.
Could a light leak during dark period cause preflower?

If your light is truly 18/6 I would first double check for light leaks and make sure that’s forsure not the issue. if you find that’s not the case Toss those plants and start over.

Not typically. Some plants like to show off early.

Why would you toss the plants? Cannabis plants can show preflowers as soon as 4-6 weeks regardless of light cycle.

If you have multiple strains and they are all flowering on you during 18/6
Showing sex vs actually going into flower on 18/6 just sounds like plants I wouldn’t want to waste my time on. I could be wrong about this. You don’t have to listen to my advice at all.

All my photos have shown sex around week four whether I run 12/12 or 18/6, apart from a few Laos highlands which took 7 weeks.
Don't think it's anything worth stressing or tossing plants over. There's a big difference between pre flowering and actually flowering.

If you are trying to put to many plants under light it’s easy for plants to think they are needing to flower

I believe there was a confusion. Pre flowering is normal. I read his post as his plants are flowering

Stay sober…ish.. proceed in the garden and induce 12/12 and stay on the look out for Adam’s apples. These pre flowers are the mice that got you into this maze.. remember you’re just the mouse trying to find the cheese.
