Coughing up phlegm

I know this is gonna sound a bit nasty, but I'm trying to figure out if anyone else has experienced this.

I've been smoking bubble hash from by 7 inch water pipe for over 2 weeks now. Recently, I've started coughing up phlegm with some dark stuff in it. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I would still like to keep smoking this stuff. Any recommendations besides the obvious?
 
Yeah man ive been coughing up black phlegm lately too, its fucking gross and only in the mornings if i smoke before bed.

Ive been smoking 30 years and never hacked up anything Black.. You better go see a Dr,,... I smoke everyday , Weed Plus Cigarettes
 
There are colds going around all through out the world at any given time, smoking marijuana doesn't strengthen your immune system so your going to get sick more frequently. Shit, ive had a cold for like a month straight now. Still blaze, i don't care, I just put a bucket next me so I can hock lugez when needed. If theres discoloration and it's not just plant matter you inhaled and is being carried out the body via phlegm, then you will need an antibiotic as it's probably an infection.

I charge 40.00 a shot, you have any idea how high you would get if you did a shot of my throat seepage!?!?

Shit is something nahsti.
 
it happens too me too, but ive been smoking out of a gravity bong pretty much everyday for the last 3 years, it only happens to me in the mornings as well. I think its your body getting all the resin out of your throat from taking fat hits thats why if you ever take fat rip out a joint your teeth are brown and full of resin. just think of how your throught gets coated with resin:joint::hump:
 
and havent you notice how your bong or pipes get coated with resin from the smoke passing thrue i think i probably happens to your throat as well from all the smoke and then form holding the smoke in. well at least its comming out and not staying in there
 
I believe it is the pot cleaning your lungs....

When I run out of pot and only smoke cigi's I don;t bring up any phlegm.
When I have that first pot smoke after, immediatly the dark cigarette phlegm comes out...
 
and yeah... I get this phlegm too... I call it "roasted maggot balls" because that's what mine looks like... and I learned real quick to cover my mouth when i cough otherwise I might hit something, and they do ricochet! ;)

If i dont smoke before bed it isnt there in the morning but whenever I do I notice it, its not black more of just got a really dark color to it.
 
Yeah I get that too now, this never happened to me before. I almost have to purchase a spittoon or something, lol it sucks.
 
I've been smoking for about 2 and a half years now, about six months ago I started coughing up PURE black phlegm. It lessened a bit with time, but is now starting to come back. If anything I have lessened my smoking and it's now coming back. I do have asthma, and I smoke joints, when I use a pipe or bong, they have screens in them. Does anybody know what's going on?
