They look great man but the hairs look like they could amber up a little more.
More importantly, what do the trichs look like?
I did a little research on Couchlock. Apparently it should be allowed to mature until the trichs become 50-60% amber. So what do they look like?

i was looking up your strains and it says flowering about 50-55 days it will be mature for the couchlock.. and i couldnt fine to much on the H.R... but it seems to me you got a good looking pheno compared to some other pix ive seen

The Couchlock trich's are 50/50 cloudy clear right now. I'd really like to see some amber on them also. I'm sure they are coming. The trich's on the other plant are mostly cloudy with a few amber trichs here and there

Yeah Wretched, Couchlock is suppose to mature quickly. Not mine though, Im on like day 65.
I don't know much about the Hawaiian Red. I bought it at my medical dispensary, it was only $15 a gram because it had seeds in it. I remember the smoke being pretty good. Especially for seeded bud. Anyways, this is her offspring, who only knows what pollinated her. I imagine it was an HR male, but I guess you never really know.
Between the two, the trich's are turning quicker on the HR than Couchlock. I thought it was going to be the other way. Sensimillia.....she's a mysterious mistress.

right on those girls look good ethier way.. i would let them go as long as possible let them trichs go mostly amber.. but its your choice in the end.. good luck keep us updated

Getting a lot of amber trichs on my HR. 10% amber, 80% cloudy, 10% clear.
The couchlock is a little different. The very top of the plant is very fresh bud that was growing as of recently. The top portion of the bud has mostly clear trichs. The lower 80% of the plant is cloudy and amber.
Im thinking of cutting soon. Possibly sometime over the weekend, I'll cut the lights completely and have a final 36 hr dark period. Then I'll cut them in the dark after that. Not sure either of those techniques make any difference, but other people do, and what do I have to lose except another day or 2.

It will still be single cola plants. I'm planning on staying in the same setup. I'm going to germinate 5 seeds. Hopefully they all pop and I'm hoping I have 3/5 female. I think I can squeeze one more girl into the setup. They'll all be White Russian so Im thinking so I thinking they be more consistent with each other
I wasn't too crazy about the nutes I used during my last grow. I'm switching over to some FoxFarms for the next one. Hopefully my seeds show up soon.

sounds good ive used Fox Farm in my last grow worked good i got some bad nute burn but thats growers fault!! my next grow is gonna be 6-9 plant SOG i want single cola plants too looks like they yield more compared to some other ways ive grown...

I have a cleaning lady that comes every 2 weeks. I love having a clean house, but I hate having to be stealthy with her. I wish I could go big.....but for my current living arraignments. 2 - 4 single cola plants is what Im stuck with.

First and foremost.....I usually grow indica dominant strains. That helps things quite a bit. Short and squat. Keep lights close to minimize stretch
Secondly, you have to go 12/12 fairly early. Usually 2-3 weeks after popping from the soil/medium from seed.
Thirdly, one plant needed one trimming (just cut the branches that aren't part of them main stem, these buds wont turn out to be anything great anyways.)
Some plants may not even need a trimming. My couchlock did not

Trimming should be a breeze. I should get 3 oz's or so and my trimming time should be less than 10 mins. I'm looking forward to that for sure.
Downside.....I wont have much for hash or making edibles. But who cares about that crap anyways. Never does much for me IMO..............

im about 3 weeks behind u with my 2 girls and ill be lucky to get half of your expected 3 oz's... anything over an oz and im tickled pink. next grow im doing around a 15-20 plant dwc SoG so we'll see how that goes. good luck
