Med ...

You may continue with the personal attacks if you wish. Be assured that they don't bother me in the least. I respect your right to free speech here in the forum and wouldn't do anything to subvert your efforts. Also, I'm a devout Libertarian, and as such, I believe everyone has the absolute right to debase one's self, as long as one doesn't infringe upon the rights of another in the process. So ... continue to debase yourself until you're blue in the face.

The only thing Vi can kiss is my ass!
I'm afraid you'd have to mark the spot, Med ... cuz you are ALL ass. *lol*

PS: If you want to continue lowering the political debate in the forum to the level of a fifth-grade school yard, I'm willing. But I would much prefer to keep things on an adult level. How about you?

The problem is, there's only one adult in our conversations, and I believe it's me. You might have a different opinion. If you stop with the line item vetos and just post your opposite opinion, maybe we can have a dialogue, but basically as I see it, it has been a monologue on your part so far!

I pull out of your posts what I disagree with, then I address it. That's all.

What you really do is tell me I'm a dimwit for believing that way. Like I said there's two or more sides to every story, There's your side and then there's the right (Correct) side! So just hold the sarcasm and post your rebutal! Example: you've yet to explain how your free market economy would address all the complicated social issues, like for one, health care! just explain that one little part of your grand kingdom! Then we'll work an all the other issues that will be affected when you let the market float!

I HAVE explained it to the best of my ability. Now you do the same. From where does the federal government derive the power to introduce centrally planned health care into the states based upon constitutional authority? Please find the clause in the Constitution that gives the federal government the authority to PROVIDE "free" medical coverage to the citizens of the states. Thanks ..

Explain to me why we need constitutional authority to make our society a better place for all. Does it say in the constitution the government can spend taxes on any pork that any politician wants. Yet it is so! It is the responsibility of the Government to provide for the common welfare of the people. Is medical care not a needed portion of that welfare. Is equality, health, and prosperity only limited to those whom are sons of influence. I think you have your priorities backwards. I believe these things should come first and foremost then we all would have an equal chance to succeed!

OK, if that's true, then point it out. Where is it written that the responsiblity of the government is to "PROVIDE" for the common welfare of the people? I figure that you must have read it somewhere. Otherwise its just a personal opinion, made up in your head, no?

More like a standard set by civilized nations, especially 1st world ones. We are the only "1st world" nation that does not take care of it's citizenry, there are 3rd world nations that take better care of their citizens than we do!

By "Third World Nations," which ones are you referring to? Name them, Med.

What's the unemployment rate for European nations compared to ours? Life expectacy? Infant mortality rate?

"Do you think I'm an encyclopedia?"

Nope, I don't think you are an encyclopedia at all. I just think that you are a person who makes wild assertions, then when asked to back them up ... you can't. That's about it.
