Started building this today. Its around 7x7' 9'4" tall. Just getting the frame up first. Ill probably start a new journal when I'm done with it. My brother came by and we ended up working on his car so I didn't get as far as I'd planned.

Lovely... What are your plans for lighting? Soil? Strain? Come on man you can't post a one titty pic without showing the other one..

Well I'm still not %100 how I want to grow in there. I was mulling over the options. Dunno Vertical, hydro, soil, I was thinking to have a small veg area in there too. It will take me a few weeks to finish for cost reasons. I'm running 2 circuits across the ceiling. Drywall, spray insulation, reflectix on a plywood interior. Passive intake will be put in the bottom of the wall into the pantry on the other side. The idea is to just run my 435cfm pulling air out a filter exhausting into the garage. I'd start with my 600 and maybe add another 600 or switch to a 1k if doing vertical. That's all I can think of right now :)

since it's a garage, I'll give you a tip I've seen a few times...

Get a bunch of empty carboard boxes from Homedepot, fold them and tape them up, then stack them to make a wall of boxes (use a sharpie to mark them things like Clothes,Baby clothes, Bedroom, etc...) that way you can still open your garage and people won't see a room in there... just a wall of boxes...

Works everytime...

not intending to pull you back, but IMHO you must make plans for your grow before you build the room in case you want it bigger or smaller or different in any way...

hmm... ok... you should have went at least 8ft if you want to optimize 2 lights...

so 8x7, that would be 1 4x8 tray against the back wall, and you could put a small tent in one corner to keep mothers/veg...

at 7x7, you'll have to use a 6x4 tray or make a custom one...

you could run a single 1000w light with a wide hood, and a 3ft mover over that, and you'll be able to cover almost as good as 2 lights...
