Cops No Better than Thugs. My Poor Grow Room

thanks to living in a small town where cops dont have shit to do my home was raided last night i just have a small med grow. 330am cops bust my door take my plants break my hydro system and lights and cut the light power lines take my 2oz i had dry and THEN ASK FOR MY MED FUCKING CARD man i am so mad i dont know what to do but i am happy they didnt take my kids and send me to jail so i am happy for that...... they had a warrant and all. its a small town so i know all the cops so it wasnt like some lame ass trying to act like a cop for free weed i just dont know what do do atm im kinda freaked out

what state is this in?

MI.... i am told that i can get them to pay for all the loss so tuesday morning ima get a lawyer and sue my local police department and the judge who's name was on the warent

i would be freaked too,i hate it when the old bill are just at the door never mind kicking it in at 3.30am. good luck with getting your damages compensated, although its trouble and stress you shouldnt be going through if some plant pot had just done there homework before the raid. pisses me off how they target small growers in the first place.

Something most of made them come through... they dont just waste money to get a small bust for them to get small money. They must of thought they were going to get more than what they got. or something else.

Look at it this way, if you have a case you should be able to sue them for the stress it caused you of being raided @ 3 AM and having to re nurture your plants and everything. I am no lawyer but I see emotional stress here

Yeah, probably got ratted out by that guy. Getting money back might be difficult. You could probably get compensation for the equipment, but the for the dried but it might be more difficult. Courts don't like to compensate for bud or plants because it's hard to put an actual $$ on what it's worth. Either way, im sure your lawyer will let you know that you have to prove how much the equipment was worth and how much the plants/nug was worth. If you get a good lawyer you might be able to get a decent amount.

i know the pain mate, just got busted myself about 5 weeks ago, only 8 plants but im in the U.K so its all illegal.in my case it was my own fault. got drunk, crashed the car thru a wall, had enuff in my pocket to give them the right to get a warrent, which they did and trhey found my grow. so drunk driving, possession and cultivation charges...as well as losing my grow tent and lights etc. pain in the fuckin ass, the area is heaving with heroin and crack users and the fuckers catch me!!
