Cameras.

Mounted on their g'damn chests. Right next to their little fookin' tin badges.

EVERY g'damn single one of the motherfuckers.

So it was the COP that attacked YOU Mr. Citizen!? Roll the film motherfucker.

So it was the CITIZEN that attacked YOU Mr. Cop? Roll the fookin' film.

Cameras will allow society to successfully identify and reward / eliminate LEO's far more effectively and efficiently than any system we've ever had.

Write your governors.

Write your congresshitbags.

Demand they trade in those fucking assault rifles, armor, and helmets, and make those bitches carry g'damn CAMERAS instead.

They will fight it every step of the way because it will make them accountable for their actions.

2014, we can do amazing things with technology, but we still take a cops word in court knowing damn they protect themselves and other officers . Dumb.

He'll get a paid vacation out of the deal, just wait.

Most police departments are far over staffed and harbor the ignorant, inept and the psychopathic, sometimes all 3 rolled into 1.

Many so called crimes are mala prohibitum laws that aren't really about protecting anybody or their property, rather they are designed to control people and expand the state.

So, if pot becomes in some way legal, all the cops that put time into pursuing the "drug war" will no longer be needed. (Not that they ever were). Of course police forces will whittle the size of the force down right?

LOL that cop won't lose his job over this. He was suspended without pay.
in 1996 this officer lost control of his vehicle and totally and permanently disabled another man with 6 children, the city and the county settled for $6 million and the officer, even though found guilty in a court of law, paid nothing to the victim or his family.

There should be a special vigilante group in America ( like the A Team) that goes around , finds these officers and ...........

Any notes a cop takes, any testimony they could give that would exonerate you is deemed hearsay evidence.
Wonder how camera footage would be viewed

I'm a big fan of the OP's idea. I would support required chest cams on every officer. If they aren't activated at the beginning of every arrest/pursuit, the perp goes free. If the camera is shut off at any point during the arrest/pursuit, the perp goes free. Digital cams are dirt cheap and so is memory. No reason this couldn't be implemented, it would actually save loads of cash.

Cop's dunkin donut cards have unlimited credits.

You know that donut eating cop stereotype is totally true, went into a dunkin donuts the other day and 8 cops were in there, and they weren't in one group and weren't all from the same dept, some were deputies, 2 were car markers and the others were city cops. Besides them it was me and one other lady.

Dunkin's new 100% Colombian blend is pretty good.

Cops would have to act with integrity and honor, that leaves out half the force.
