can you please inform the rest of us what planet you live on? here on earth there are several of the largest nations that have told the climate change nutcases to pack sand. also, can you please tell us what this kind of treaty has done for the price of energy on your planet. also when the price of energy increases, drastically, how many poor people died because they couldnt afford heat or gas? oh, and is your moon made of cheese too?

Article 10 of bunreacht na hEireann, the irish constitution states that "All natural resources INCLUDING THE AIR and all forms of potential energy within the jurisdiction of the Parliament and Government established by this Constitution and all royalties and franchises within that jurisdiction belong to the State subject to all estates and interests therein for the time being lawfully vested in any other body."


Now in case people don't know, the air above Ireland belongs to the State ie the people of Ireland. The Air is composed of 78% Nitrogen, 21%Oxygen and currently 0.038% Carbon Dioxide.

It is not for any other quasi governmental body to tell us what level CO2 needs to be in the Air above Ireland. Bunreacht na hEireann states this is clearly a matter for the Irish people.
Even if the Govt of the day sign Copenhagen, this should not be legally binding on the people of Ireland indefinately.

Also, Bunreacht states "All forms of potential energy". Again CO2 is part of the process of energy consumption. As all potential energy from Biomass comes from CO2, the Irish People own it.



Im not sure but id imagine since irelands constitution was only signed into law in 1937 that other constitutions around the world had some influence on it. There might be a similar article somewhere in the US constitution.

Its not really unreasonable at all to believe something like this could happen. So much power has become concentrated in the hands of so few,and those few are so detached from most people's reality, a thing like this could easily happen. But you know, whatdya do? Write congress? bitch about it on smoke breaks? write about it on forums? there's a pervasive feeling of helplessness that accompanies the feelings of anger and disbelief over the constant erosion of our freedoms, etc...

The danger is that the US constitution was writen in such a way
as to make treaties on par with or stronger then the constitution.

The actual numbers from "REAL" climatologists show how truly stupid this movement really is.

Humans account for 1/10th of 1 percent, thats .001, of the green house gases expelled into the atmosphere annually. Only the few greenhouse gases, which make up less than 1 percent of the atmosphere, offer Earth any insulation. So to put it in context, if you use the new Dallas Cowboys stadium which has 80,000 seats to represent the atmoshphere, man-made CO2 would be .8 of a seat...total. If you used the exact same stadium to represent JUST green house gases, man-made CO2 would be 80 seats out of 80,000. If we COMPLETELY eliminated our CO2 emissions, it wouldn't be anymore perceptible than that 1 seat being empty in said stadium. That is the folly of these clowns.
