cooltubes?

hey folks,
i have recently expanded my hobby.
i am now in a 2.4 x 1.2 x 2m tent.
i am using a rhino 8" 1150m3h rated cf, a rvk 8" L1 950m3h raTED fan,
2X 600 watt cooltubes, lumantec ballasts, a smscom fancontroller with a 6" L1 rvk 420m3h rated for intake,
the temps are fine and have settled at 78f / 25c
neither fan is running any where near full power as yet.
the issue i think im having is light spread,
i have made my own reflectors using dutch barn reflectors as the ones that came were utter garbage.
is any one else having this issue using cooltubes?
im even pondering going back to the standard reflector tbh.

Hey mate, thats the reason i decided to go for an air cooled hood instead of the cooltube, i did think about making my own reflector as you have done but couldnt be bothered in the end! What tent did you go for? Thinking of upgrading myself one day soon. Hope you get the reflector sorted any way mate.

i ended up getting the green room GR 240N, the tent itself is a cracker and will hold alot of weight on the top if need be,
another thin gi did change was, i first opted for the primair fan controller but after speaking with the lad at the shop was advised to go with smscom as the primair is either on high speed or low and no happy medium and the sms can slowly increase/decrease speed as necessary.
i have the switch on the ballast on super lumen but stilol not so happy,
