I am thinking on cutting back on my electricy bill, so I am thinking of using one of those cooler fan, they are the ones you put ice inside. my sun hut inside is around 80-90 during day time, 74-77 during night (18/6). using 2 6' inline 250cfm each with oscillating fan. i sometimes use my portable AC but my electric bill is insane. oh and im running 2 400 watts HPS inside my grow tent (4x4x7)...what do you guys think?

I initially thought something similar but then didn't like the idea of how many times I would have to check and ensure the ice hasn't yet melted and if so, get it replaced as to keep the unit cooling everything. To me, seems like it will not help much anyhow. In 80-90 degrees that ice will melt quickly.

I have having heat problems and simply put a fan in the growroom and used it to exhaust. It creates negative pressure thus pulling air into the grow and keeping everything cool. Love it!
