Cooking at parents house

So I wanna cook some edibles, probably cookies (i've got a recipe that's quick and good), with cannabutter, but I still live with my parents and although they don't care if i smoke, they don't want me cooking weed food in their kitchen, so i'm wondering if i do it will it leave a stink? Like lingering in the room or stuck in the pans and shit? Not sure how to go about this.. I read something about somethin called firecrackers? Whats that?

When I make cannabutter with coconut oil, it does indeed smell up the house. It will linger in the rooms for a bit but if you air it out for ~30 mins with fan assistance, I think you'll be ok. The pans and tools used, they won't smell after you wash them

I can't really help with the firecrackers because they have never worked for me but I heard many rave for them... So maybe I just had some weak stuff I dunno..

One way I can think of getting away with it a BIT better is perhaps taking the material and making oil with it, then you decarb the oil for ~20+ mins in the oven (as opposed to hours on the stove), and then add it to the butter/coconut butter. This will still have a slight smell but it should be less.

grab the crock pot and plug it in the closet, outdoor shed, friends house and make canna butter.. Once separated(can be done outdoors if cold enough) into butter . Cook what ever... cookies, rice crispies, brownies, anything that requires butter as a main part.. With the taste in the product but not the air when cooking.. Make the family a batch clean no THC first .. fill them up .. Then do the special batch.. pack and run ..

If your parents say don't cook with cannabis in their house, don't cook with cannabis in the house- it's that easy. Show some respect.

I agree you shouldn't cook in their house your lucky enough they except that you smoke. What you could do is get a portable burner and make butter in your back yard the portable elements cost like 10-20 bucks then run an extension cord across the backyard and do it there. You can also use a toaster oven to bake your cookies or firecrackers or whatever they are.

Go to goodwill or some thrift shop and you can get a toaster oven and plug in element for dirt cheap. Sell your friends a couple cookies out of the batch and you paid your self back in full, plu got a toaster oven and element out of it.
