Converting MarsHydro, Question about CREE CXB2530/2540

When I get my new COB lights on Wednesday I will have two 300W Marshydros over. My plan is to convert them to additional COB lights, with 4x CREE CXB2530/2540, using the Marshydro Case and drivers.

(The drivers of the MH by the way are 2x60W, out:[email protected])

(The plan is to make "Ghetto" lights with the cheapest but most efficient LEDs. It's more a fun project than actually building "the best" light).

Recently someone mentioned 2x CXB2530 would be ideal (in series) for each drivers. So each light would have 2x2 COBs.

Then someone mentioned that CXB2540 would be even better.

My actual question is about the bins of the CREEs and which ones I need?

I want 3500k lights FOR VEG & FLOWER, and what I see is there is lights for group "W2" and "W4" and then 2-step groups 35H and 35G, eg.

CXB2540-0000-000N0HW235H
CXB2540-0000-000N0HW435H
CXB2540-0000-000N0HW235G
CXB2540-0000-000N0HW435G

Those are all 80CRI, 3500k

So which ones do I need? Do the groups only describe which ones has more lumens?

* What would be the cheapest to get the LEDs, besides KB? (There is Chinese new year right now so a cheap source in Europe for CXB2540 would be nice, KB wouldn't be worth it in this case because of the $40 s/h. This is really a build to see how good a light you can build with spending minimal and re-using the MH stuff, drivers etc.)

Definitely W4, no matter whether H or G. There's no cheap source for CXB (or Crees) in Europe that I'm aware of. What about Cutter if you don't want to use KB?

Planning a similar conversion for my mars 300s. Gonna put one 72v cxb3590 on each driver. Should pull ~110w total with the fan. I was concerned with the heatsink though, so I ordered 2 4.85" x 7" heatsinks from heatsinkusa. Removing the glass in the case and that size should fit nicely. I'm looking at cutter to get the rest of my cobs. Save up for a nice big order to convert 6 of these Mars 300(60x5).
