Here is a link to the Emily's Garden system: http://www.discount-hydro.com/images/link/EmilysGardenInstructions.pdf

I am going to convert this system into a drip system.

What do you guys think about the following product from HomeDepot?

Toro Drip Starter Kit Watering System - 53724 at The Home Depot

It's called the toro-drip starter kit. It doesn't come with a pump so i'm going to have to buy that separately. Which pump would you recommend (consider the size of the tubes that come with the Toro Drip Kit). I'm also going to buy a reservoir which will be placed under the Emily's Garden.

What do ya'll think?

Thanks.

Yes you can convert to drip, all you would need is a water pump, a pipe that is relevant to the size of the pump enough to cover the distance of the height of the system and the length. You will also need 6 insert nipples, 1 elbow joint, 1 stop for the end of the pipe. dripper line and 6 drip stakes. The variable flow ones are great but there are others to choose from.

thanks for your reply nongreenthumb.

i got 10 gallon tub for the reservoir.

a 185 gph submersible pump w/ 1/2 inch tube.

The emily garden holds 2 gallon of water.

How much should I fill the reservoir with? I would imagine 2 gallons max because the emily garden holds 2 only. Is this correct or can i add more to the reservoir?

should i feed continuously? or every 15 minutes? every hour? three times a day??????

Thanks
