Dom e a favor and break it down to its components.. Like piece by piece.. now take pictures. I would like to get a look inside that housing. You probably dont need it. AT ALL! lol
could you post pictures.. even if its the same post pictures.. break it down to bare components.. The insides is what we want lol.

great link. although i wonder if it would save more energy if i had one ballast powering 2-100watt bulbs or 1 ballast for each.

Good job with this DIY! I changed it up a bit, but used your general idea. I purchace a CFL security light at walmart for $22. 65 Watt 6500K. I bought 2 plastic junction boxes, 1 in place of your project box to house the starter for the CFL. All in all I have a great 60 (or 65 watt, i cant remember) Veg light for $30! Thanks OP
