So you decided you want to grow but the state is going to take your right. I got the answer.

I can provide you with patients that live on the reservation. If you have actual patients they can not take your rights no matter where you live. Why stop growing? Contract available to protect your investment.

What if I live less than 25 miles from a dispensary, but the qualifying patient does not? Can I grow medical marijuana?

The authorization to cultivate is based on where the qualifying patient lives, not where the designated caregiver lives. When a qualifying patient lives more than 25 miles from a dispensary and has authorized the designated caregiver to grow, the caregiver may cultivate marijuana on the qualifying patient's behalf. The amount of marijuana a designated caregiver may grow or possess is limited by the number of qualifying patients who the designated caregiver is assisting.
(thanks AvonsBarksDale)

There are associated costs but the monies generated will go to help the patients and provide them with medicine for free.
Plan ahead and IM now before you lose your right!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!FREE THE WEED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware that you should never take any controlled substance on tribal land. The patients will come to us in Tucson for medicine and treatment mostly for neuropathy associated with diabetes. You will not need to provide them with any medicine and no contact is necesssary.

False statement.... is a class 5 felony in Az... (Better off getting caught without Green Card - Class 6 Felony)

#2
AzMMA is not recognized on Indian Land... All affairs having an impact on Tribes maybe prosecuted on all Land in the US; Vise Versa... (Alcohol is a big issue on Tribal lands - do you think the Nations will allow the "White Man" to bring pot into it's community? No.. They have their own...)

Think twice folks.......

My read says neither the patient nor the caregiver can be within the 25 mile limit.
This includes Native Reservations. I called the AZDHS to ask a couple questions a out caregivers and cultivation. In that conversation I thew out the idea of the Res. She stated that they too will fall within the geographical 25 Mile law. -Atleast that is what I was told straight from the MMJ Department.

I am however on the look out for Paitents up north. I.e parts of new river and further.

Your read is not very good.

Straight from AZDHS's site:

^ Right. So the loophole is just finding patients outside of the 25 mile area while still staying in Phoenix. I think what Personified is doing in a sense is a great thing. Caregivers helping caregivers! As long as its all legal without any sketchyness.

If ONLY there was a highly active local MMJ fourm that was actually helpful and could provide networking with eachother. :wall:

I do not have a public forum the indian nation in general has not been allowed to develop the infrastructure for even water; because of the white man. Internet on most of the nation is not even available. In addition, they are not an open people to most because of the past. Can you blame them?

I look at this as the way free health care should be generated by a free market similar to the Harbor Side model. These patients will get all of the medicine for free and will be under the supervision of a naturopath.

If you remember the state keeps saying they do not have any good studies that support medical marijuana. If I can get enough patients I can actually do testing under the supervsion of a few naturopaths I work with and get good studies that can dispute the state. I see it as a win win win situation for everyone involved which is what succesful business is about.

Why give your money to a dispensary when you can help someone in need and help yourself? It is simple economics in your interest if a cost of an ounce is going to be $400 in a few ounces you have paid for your patient and all of the associated other costs.

It is time for patients and the caregivers to thwart the greed mongers like the dispensaries/clubs and political opposition. $15-28 Dollars a gram is the price expected after the rights to grow have been quashed.

You can verify with the state that there are currently 9 patients doing exactly what I am saying. They do not take any marijuana on the reservation because they do know and understand that is a major crime. The people I am dealing with are true patients in every sense of the word and what Prop 203 was designed to help.

Patient's residence is of importance not the caregivers.

AzDHS does not give legal advice nor would I hold them to anything said...

I question how long you have been a citizen of Arizona?

Water rights... Maybe you have no clue about the history of Az... The Indians have the MOST beautiful land in Az - Fact. Water rights... HAHA
(Gila River Indian Community, Fort McDowell- which resides on the Verde River - I can go on.. Wait til you go North towards San Carlos Indian Rez talk about water issues- maybe too much water- good fishing too - or maybe east towards Greer also another Indian Rez - They (White Mountains) have Wild Wolves and many beautiful rivers. One of Arizona's treasures... Not to mention the Grand Canyon(Colorado River) flows through a Indian Rez...)

No internet on the Rez? Since when...

"You can verify with the state that there are currently 9 patients doing exactly what I am saying." How my friend? How?

What the Indians are afraid of is folk like you trying to abuse their sovereignty for a few bucks... Like when the "White Man" tried to take their water from their land...

YES THOSE ARE ALL FEDERAL EASMENTS. Now search for private easements outside Sells, Az city limits and then post those results please. Thanks for your help!!

What better way to help a someone who can not afford it? These patients are ready, willing, and able!! They think it is a great deal for them. I may start posting pictures of some available patients supporting the cause.

This may not be for everyone especially those that have clubs/dispensaries and seem so intent against it taking money from their monopoly. I would rather help someone and save myself a lot of money in the process. That is just me.

I think that is a wonderful deal; I understand.... and it is ok…. if you want to pay the high dollars. Most will support the dispensaries and slowly be bleed dry at those high prices. That is fine it is your choice that or growing illegally and risk procecution. What ever works for you!!

One plant grown one time could save you the money you would pay to a dispenary. Then for the rest of the year you get to keep all of the medicine for yourself.

Would that not be worth it? I think so :)

The first patients to be placed with a caregiver are the Garcia Brothers several time winners of the Southern Arizona Blues Society Award. If you saw Styx last year you saw Eric Garcia open for them at Casino Del Sol. He is our official spoke person and all of the brothers are members of the Tohono O'odham Nation.

Look for up and coming events to help get the word out with them and some of Arizonas other best bands.

Possibly interested please elaborate...costs?

Costs are as follows $1500 total
$500 to cover all the associated state fees and doctor bill to make them a patient and you the caregiver.

$1000 which should be able to purchase a patients medicine for the year and education on health as well as the supervision by the doctor. I may have to increase it to $1500 to accomplish all of that but it is still cheaper than paying the dispenesaries.

Again a contract would be in place I would guarantee the patient will continue through out the year. If he/she were to fail to uphold the bargin I would replace them. I can assure you these are paitients that will be greatful and in no way want to leave after you have given them everything they need for free.

I think as a community that we should not turn into the very greed mongers like the pharmacueticals that try to undermine us. Instead we should be trying to figure out how to get everyone the weed for free. I imagine a scenario where I am giving medicine and growers are growing freely. In that environment there is competition and when there is competition there are reasonable prices not a MONOPLY with no supply and demand checks.

That's a lot. Super greedy. If you wanted people to get free meds you would just introduce them together at no charge. Yes it does cost about 500 for a patient to see a doc, pay the state its fee, pay caregiver fee to state, finger print card charge... So where are you getting $1500 ??

Well lets do the math. If you do not have insurance a doctor visit is $75-$100 If the patient is seeing a doctor once a month that will eat up the amount by itself. I however will negotiate a group rate then we have to purchase medicine.

Also let us not forget I want to do studies to dispute the state.

I have told you the secret if you like you can approach an Indian and do it for yourself for free; I am not opposed to that. I have a purpose and a plan that is what the extra money is for. That is the trick, is it not, trying to find an Indian that wants to deal with you and be willing to be a patient. Nothing to it but to do it!!

You are a fucking crook or a cop.

This is getting better and better...

Quite an investment for a patient... Are you setting folks up to violate the laws?

Where does the extra $1000 go?

If the Southern Nation is your spokesmen...
How can I get folks in contact with you all? Have a few friends on the Rez near Tucson... He would love free medicine...
