Mine looked green like dried grass clippings or dry horse shit. Been 3 weeks since I mixed it and looks the same smells the same as day 1.

Did you moisten the mixture when you were done mixing it with your base soil? Might also add a little fish emulsion to the water that you use to moisten the mix.

There is a good amount of alfalfa in there, so that might be the green. Smells like fish emulsion too.

Yes, water is important. Make sure it's moist, like a wrung out paper towel. If you grab a handful, it should clump together when you squeeze, but not too much so you have dripping water when this test is done.

Do you have to use the whole charge pack at once or is it all nicely mixed so you can use say a quarter pack?

Ya it did look like alfalfa and smell like fish and I did moisten it and it is still moist to this day I haven't added any more water. It is in blue hard plastic barrels with clamping lids

I just used half of my TGA supersoil charge mix to make 9cu. ft. of super soil. I used 8cf of Happy Frog Potting Soil, 1cf Roots Organics Big Worm, 4L Perlite, and aprx. 12.5lbs of TGA Charge pack.
Here is what that contents of the charge pack look like. Here is my mixed supersoil. DSCN0409[1].jpgDSCN0412[1].jpgDSCN0403[1].jpg
