Hey guys im 30 days into my first cfl auto grow using fox farms ocean forest and a mix ok 5000k and 2700k clf lights(6 in total all 23w). Im using a tecnaphlora beginners successes kit as my nutes.jack.png

CFLS are good for Mini SoG, Clones, Small plants, seedlings, and for lighting spots where the HPS doesn't reach. I wouldn't consider CFL only flowering... Requires too many lights and too much work to maintain.

i have gone 100% cfl from the start with amazing results some people will say they cant produce like sodium or mh but they do just fine by me :) you can check out my cabinet build and a few journals ive made my old name was just WINKDOGG i believe but this profile should lead you too a few good items :) congrats and good luck!

i was just wondering if the cfl lights being turned on all day/night would it be a huge expense on ur hydro bill. will u notice a huge amount of difference or no.
i changed every bulb in my house to cfl and i use 24 - 23watters with no difference in my elect bill. the rest of the house being lit by cfl cancels them out!
