Is there any strains out there anyone can point me to that sprout purp plants more times than not? I kno tga has some strains that will throw purp phenos I'm looking for something that comes on more consistently on the purp side of things. Trying to find a true purp male in all honesty to cross to a few strains I've kept around and work them into more colorful potent strains. Anyhow all feedback appreciated thanks, Blitz

its all about getting the right pheno. Ive had some non purple strains go purple. Try something like grape ape, grandaddy purple. i managed to get some purple urkle by guru seeds, ill see how that turns out.

you should look for the black water purple pheno..the Mendo Purps side stands out a lot..but be careful of Hermes

I guess I should specify that I'm looking for a reg seed version of something that is purple. All feedback still welcome tho.

Hi
You should take a look at Pakistan Chitral Kush from Cannabiogen & Ace Seeds (don't remember which one has the reg seeds)
Lots of phenos from green to black purple including some pink ones.

I grew 5 beans last run, it's really a true beauty queen.

Try Peyote Purple if you can get your hands on a pack. Got one myself too, havn't popped em yet. Good ratio of natural purples though.

I ordered a seed of "Grand Daddy Purp" from Ken's, turned out male, so I crossed it with a Blue OG (OG x Blue Moonshine) female. The Blue OG female itself had nice coloring, purple and such. But the male and resulting cross was void of such coloring. Seems it backfired. I don't think Ken's GDP is as consistent as you'd like.

Cherry Pie will purple much more than Ken's GDP, it has a better taste too.
Plus 1 for cherry pie. A friend of mine grows nothing but CP. His flower room always has about 90% purp plants. He said he thinks a slightly cooler flowering temp is key to bringing out blues and purps. That's just his exp. though

My most purple variety (purple calyxs) so far from TGA Ace of Spades 5 pack.

If you are after purple leaves, that is a lot more common and the color comes out a lot more under LED

Cali connection Buddha Tahoe OG

Blue Mystic in cold temps; below 60. They'll turn purple. I've got leaves that are basically black in my Blue Mystic Hybrid.
