I don't think this is a surprise for anyone. Conservative Christian zealots have historically been far more dangerous than Muslim ones.
I can see the appeal of a 3rd party to the Left of what the Democrats offer to fight against this trend.

If you have read my jeremiads about dominionists, you know why I am a fierce advocate of keeping church and state separate — using a meter of armor plate if necessary.

They are usually Baptists, whose social strictures (notably their hatred of sex) have poor or absent honest scriptural basis, or they are Calvinists, favorites of plutocrats because a key tenet is that worldly success correlates with success in getting a limited-edition invite to the Kingdom upon passing.

Imo both doctrines are corrosive to a free society, and lately their vanguard has been getting elected (Gan) or appointed (Gamy Bony Ferret) to high office.

The latest styles are out just in time for the mid-term insurrection!

I'd to laugh that this could be ascribed to only one side of US politics when it clearly applies to both. Don't let me get in the way of the political hatred in your country though because the same shit applies in pretty much every Western country these days in respects to their own government of course.

If she did, she fucked them and forced the SCOTUS to release the decision too early. If they lose the election over it, the democrats will protect abortion with federal law and that trumps state law.
