I just started using it in the last year and saw a big difference in oil production and yield. I did a side by side with that + Big Bud vs Heavy 16 Fire and it wasn't even close.

That is all bullshit. If a joint isn't staying lit and has black ash, the bud isn't dry. If it's crackling or sparking it's from smoking bugs or spraying shit on your plants during flowering.

I'm With Burnt on this one, plants do not uptake salts. At most you'd have salt build up (For the billionth time) in your grow medium and that's what you are flushing.

wow shit ton of advice on this thread im glad for all the help! im going to continue running the conniosur parts A&B as well as the BIGBUD additive and the calMag and i will gladly let u know how i feel in the end if im successful that is.... :/ im about to post a new thread in out door growing about my latest problem let me know if any friends can shed some light on this shit...

Ive been using Advanced Nutrients for year, and love the basics in the brand. One of these days I'll give Conni a try, but I'm cool with what I have. Advanced has and has had the upper hand in nutrients since this medical Marijuana has taken off. Everyone else has just followed them with their cheap garbage.

I can guarantee its not the connoisseur.
If you are using AN with RO water you do not need to add cal mag,It is built right into the nute system.Along with azomite in ANs nute system.
If you are using other nute brands you will need to add cal mag.
AN us a protien based nute system salt build up will be minimal
If you go to ANs nute calculator and use as directed you will have excellent results,Flush final week with water or use anyones flushing solution.I use groteks final flush,I also use groteks silica blast ,Its just a silica additive but is allot cheaper than ANs rino skin,.
AN is not a stand alone system,In other words if you think you are just going to get and use just the base nutes and think you are going to get the best results you will be sadly disapointed
Base nutes, VOODOO juice ,Big bud ,overdrive and b 52 will get you outstanding results,
If you are growing hydro your ash will be black from synthetic nutes,If you grow with organic nutes your ash will be brown/ white,
There is a good reason why lots of cups are won by growers using AN ,

Sorry but I use nothing but Sensi base and my results are just as good as using the hobby kit you are speaking of. What your big bud,overdrive and b-52 does do is make the grow more stress tolerant. If you have a well controlled environment, these stresses will never occur. AN even says it is idiot-proof for the idiot. Not in disrespect but to emphasize that if you are a rookie who makes mistakes, AN will provide you with products where the end result is a healthy,smokable plant. If you really zeroed in on the ingredients of Big Bud and B-52 you would find that they are already provided in the Sensi base anyways. Connoisseur is more of a marketing ploy aimed at the arrogant who think they are shit hot growers.

I run 16 bulbs 8 1000 watt and 8 600 watt bulbs,I use the whole AN line up with the exception of tarantula and bud factor x,i also use groteks final flush and grotek silica blast to replace rino skin,
I guarantee if you are just using the base nute system you are not getting as good of results .
what MOST ALL growers do not understand is that the marijuana plant has timing, It wants different levels of NPK at different stages of its development, If you understand this than you maximize your yield ,This is part of what makes AN so good, They recognize this timing and have built their feeding program around this timing,
Of course there are always haters and a hater is going to hate, all AN does is grow dope..thats it ,that's all they grow and specialize in, Growing dope,
If you or I had a large scientific lab specializing in growing dope and dope research it stands to reason that eventually we would strike on the best methods and materials to grow dope, This is even without degrees in botany ,anyone can grow like a genius so long as you have your grow conditions set , and follow directions on a chart,
Then you get the oh its expensive,Fookin unbelievable ,5 extra ounces will more than pay for a 8 lamp grows whole nute supply for a cycle,The thing is you will get more than extra ounces on a pull,you will be getting extra pounds,

AN products are great, just very expensive. If you have no experience and would rather pay $ than learn as you go, go with AN, if not, go buy some GH flora series and work out the kinks yourself. Good luck
