insulated flex ducting you mean? How does that stop light from tent A from getting to Tent B?Insulated flex
Oh my bad , I have air activated dampers between my roomsinsulated flex ducting you mean? How does that stop light from tent A from getting to Tent B?
I'd have 1 90 degree bend and 1 45 degree bend, about 12 feet of ducting. Where could I put the dampers? The dampers or a 45 degree bend would work well to redirect the light/ block much of it.
How much light is leaking, because a light leak is no real problem. How would I keep light from leaking through ducting when connecting two tents together?
sounds like ill have no issue, I'm not sure how much will leak through at this point as im waiting on my CMH bulb to arrive. From everything I read light leaks were big issues but if you're growing no problem like that I shouldnt have much. It'll probably be less than 30 PAR worth of light coming in at the base of the tent far below canopy level. definitely less than the moon produces outdoors. How much light is leaking, because a light leak is no real problem.
A lot of people think that a pot plant needs "total" darkness for 12 hours in the bloom cycle, which is not true,
It has to go down significantly, granted, but a small amount of light entering a grow space will not impact your plants negatively.
I read a post once where the guy was worried about the LED diode from his stereo affecting bloom, lol.
I keep my door ajar between my bloom room and my veg room sometimes, allowing a small amount of light to enter the bloom room, and I can assure you it has no affect.
When I go into the bloom room in the morning before the lights go on, with the light "leak", all the plants are asleep (all leaves drooping, totally happy.
So my point is don't worry about a small light leak, it will have no effect.
