connecting componants together

I'm getting all my parts together for my first build. I'm at the part of the process where I'm wondering what connectors to use to connect the driver to the AC and DC sides of the driver. I see some people use butt splice connectors. What I want to do is to be able to disconnect the driver or COB from the system if needed and not cut the connector from the rest of the light. I'm hoping there are male/female connectors available that will work in this application. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You could crimp on spade connectors, or you could use wago 222 lever nuts.

I will tell you when I am going to know myself...
Everything works so far but it is a safe so I want to add it to my hlg driver!
I know I need an inline fuse and a fuse but I don't know which one atm!

I'm going to run a Mean Well HLG-185-C1400A at 50 watts at 1.4A for 4 CreeCXB3070's. Thanks again for your reply.

Bonjour
I have the same driver (but b version) and 4 cxb 3590 but it is the same fuse you will need...
@Abiqua told me that I need a fuse between driver and cob...a 2Amps one's
So an inline fuse holder+2Amps fuse between red wire from driver to cob
@Abiqua could you confirm that is it the same for 3070!?...thanks!
Have a great day ★

Jacob, size the FUSE to the driver output!

So if your driver is 1.4 amps, go with a 2 amp fuse

If the driver is 1050ma, use a 1.5 or 2 amp fuse.

Same for the 3070, no difference @littlejacob

Think about buying a 50mm or 80mm fan for the driver...it get really hot so I cool it with it!
I guess it is better for driver lifetime!?
It was a pleasure to help you my best

The drivers(3) will be outside of the tent. That is a good idea about fans cooling the drivers. Have a great weekend.
