confused.. orange hairs or cloudy crystals???????

some people tell me to cut my shit when the hairs have turned from white to red, and other people tell me when all the heads of the crystals have turned cloudy???
all the hairs have turned orange, but some of the crystals are still clear.
Any advise?????

Ya want to go by the trichs. The hairs give ya an idea that it is ripe.

What Dirtboy said is true. My question is ... have you already started your flush? You want to flush with water only (no nutes) for 10 - 14 days before harvest to get all the chemicals out of the plant.

If you haven't already started your flush I would say START IMMEDIATELY because your plant looks very close to being ready.

yup, they been flushing for like 14 days so far...

i say it looks like some really nice nuggets begging to be smoked....chop that shit down

Looks good,i would go by the trichs,but by looking at your hairs its very close,or there when 90% of the hairs are red then usually it would be right around peak potency but it depends on the strain.Those buds can be cut now if you wanted to,or let them go like 4-5 more days,but not to long or the potency may go down if you miss the peak of it all.

dont water anymore, and turn off all lights for 48 hours then harvest. Also throw a dehumidifier in on low if ya have one.

I understand the dehumidifier but its the 48 hours of darkness that gets me,I stick to how the plant naturally grows and it seems to work for me,as far as i know a strain can only be as potent as its genetic traits will allow it,and the right temps,humidity,and adequate nutes,and scheduled watering's is what you need to provide to make the conditions to the point you can achieve the highest potency I could be totally wrong but enlighten me

my grow is like 3 days behind you bro im just flushing now, growing aurora indica in CFLs

Its supposed to make the plant create more resin to protect it....I havent done it personally...

The 48 hours of darkness theoretically causes the plant to freak out and create more trychomes. during the light cycle the plant gets the energy and the trychs are mainly produced in the dark cycle, also powerful light never has a chance degrade the thc before harvest. Its what Ive heard and it seems to work for me, Peace.
