confused about plant hights! need info please

i got some plants outside and depending on the specified hight i will put them indoors or out! when i look up the hight of the plants that i can get from the seed company it will say like 80 - 120 c.m! thats what im confused about cuz 80 - 120 c.m is about 3-4-feet now growing out side i know they can get alot taller then that my ice plant is about 1 foot right know and its only may so forsure it will get taller then 3 -4 feet so why do the average seed company show 80 -120 c.m? so what am i not understanding? thanks for yalls input

Give the guy some slack, besides this is a Potheads corner.
People are allowed to fuck up on spelling, grammar, and even punctuation.
I can't stand it when people have the initiative to type in criticism but don't have enough to try and help someone out. All it shows is how stupid they are.
Or how much of an asshole they really are.

Alot of those seed companies type in what the average height would be if you grew it indoors.
Most people nowadays grow indoors.
