Condenser Placement

Hope everyone is doing well! Just hoping someone could weigh in on installing a condenser indoors in a separate room when using a minisplit to cool a sealed room. Ive seen it in a view grow journals on YouTube but haven’t seen it mentioned much here. I suppose the con of how to exhaust the heat in the summer could be weighed against the pro of being able to heat areas of a home with the generated heat during the winter. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A little background information would be helpful in deciding the pros and cons.
Is the room sealed hence the need to run the AC in the winter?
How many watts in lights are you running?
How many months out of the year is cold enough in the rest of the house to need heating?
How cold does it get?
How hot are the summers?

I assume the main reasoning for this is stealth, don't want anyone to see the AC condenser. I have seen folks put them in their garage before. The key is keeping the temperature where the condenser is located within reason. Below 90F would be advisable. You get the condenser too hot and the system starts loosing performance and can cause the compressor to overwork and fry.

thats just the info I was looking for! Thank you! I have one in the garage now running that way now. I was trying to decide if I should take the same approach when I upgrade from 12,000 btu to 24,000 btu for my new layout.
