Hey everyone.

If this should be posted elsewhere, please let me know.

I hope to start pressing rosin, but I'm stuck on which size plates to get.

The press seems easy: 10 or 20 ton dake. If anyone else has an opinion about hydraulic presses please let me know.

The plates are a bit more challenging. I'm looking to press small batches. I like the idea of round plates, but can't find ones smaller than 4 inches; nugsquisher has the 2.5inch round plates, but I don't think the quality is there for that particular line of product. There's no way to tell pressure; it seems like a repackaged car hydraulic.

Next is the 2x3 and 3x3 plates. I have found 3x3 america made plates and PIDs; I have not found 2x3 inch plates.

Does anyone make 2x3 plates? Do any of you have experience on this small a level?

I'm looking to press the vast majority of my larfy, lower buds. I can't imagine doing more than an eighth at a time.

I've heard round is better regarding consistency, as all points of the plate are equally distant from the center, but for such small sizes does round vs rectangle matter?

Is any of this making sense? Also, is there a section of RIU for concentrates, specifically rosin?
