Oh, a loonspud site declares that because the USA, like so many other countries, has it's core telecommunications backbone centres in buildings that can withstand any expected natural or man-made disaster it MUST be a conspiracy.

Guess what. They've been doing it since before you were born, and you can take solace in knowing that, like 99% of the population, you're life is boring and they have absolutely no interest in you no matter how much people cry about what might or might not be happening.

Only to a point, with the absolute shite that the average idiot posts on social media in a day you realise that not all information is useful, not all data is equal, you have to sort the wheat from the chaff or you do end up with true information overload. The reality is people freely and willingly give the likes of Google, Apple, Twitter, PayPal and Facebook more useful info than the "Man" could ever hope of collecting as that collection of data is targeted.

The reality is that unless you say you want to "Scalp President Trump" (that's easy, throw a stick and his hair will chase it) or that you will "Sneak a SNUKE up Shillary's snatch" then, frankly, anything they MIGHT have on you, yourself, is what they use to cure insomnia, it is of no value, your midget porn fetish does not interest them.

As I said all data has value; a particular data set may not have value to you but it certainly does to someone else, especially in dynamic considerations. At the moment my purported midget sex fetish is of no interest ; it will become of high interest if I say decide to run for political office or become appointed to some influential position. Subsequent damage to me or others is not at all limited to prosecutable actions. Data is also used to predict. The more one knows about an individual, the easier to manipulate them. As you alluded to, the average idiot may not know what to do with the particular data, but someone else does.

And the point being missed is that said information becomes worthless if you are unable to analyse it.

As said, Google, etc, use targeted data harvesting in specific ways for their own benefit. But Government harvesting all data from every IP address, every MAC address, every IMEI number, every VOIP call, SMS, cell call, etc, etc, etc, on any given minute of any given hour of any given day, knowing how long people spend on assorted devices nowadays, and, obviously, knowing how eager Government employees are regarding doing their job properly and efficiently? You are having a laugh, that is the definition of information overload and, even though there will be easier ways to find out about your fetish for midget porn, it will be swamped under a deluge of information that is impossible to analyse.

That's where the loonspuddery falls over, there simply isn't the manpower or technology to monitor every single device nowadays, even countries like North Korea do not have full control thanks to satellite phones being smuggled in. Yet people think that the NSA can monitor and analyse every single bit of data flowing through the USA?

Sorry, but that's the biggest laugh since Bill Clinton was proven to have poor taste in women

And you didn't answer anything either.

Next you'll be telling us Government IT projects run on time, under budget and beyond specified capabilities.

But you have to admit one thing, the psy-ops division earns it's money going by the numbers who actually believe that the Government can actually tail someone live like on TV and in Hollyweird, monitor and analyse every single bit of data transmitted in every second of every day, and so on. I mean, we don't even have proof that Trump grabbed a pussy, or molested a cat, or that Moscow interfered in the election (I mean, seriously, how much has been pissed away on this hogwash already? This has to be the biggest waste of money since that bloke called Chad strung himself up in Florida because Manbearpig got loose because of global warming. The Dems got caught with their pants down, took a huge spanking against someone who should never have been in that position, get over it, move on. If you want him to fuck up, then stop diverting attention away from what he is doing, for you're playing straight into his hands, dancing to his tune.) so how in Hell's name do you think these same people could actually go through all of that data?

It's impossible, by the time they could we would be long dead. That's why it's worthless.

Oh yes, at the time it was painful. I'm far more appreciative in retrospect.

Actually the current state of data analysis is fascinating. My son, writes code that not only crawls those massive data sets but extrapolates many complex data relationships that have surprisingly accurate predictive value. So his argument, or whatever that last diatribe was is moot.

I find the last 7 words of the above post really interesting. I honestly think that's the key to solving any and all problems, be it computers the opiate epedemic of America etc etc. I'm going to have to research this further with my assistant tech @mr sunshine

I'm way ahead of you. From the data I was able to anal-yze I found major connections to midget porn and boners. I've found myself masterbatiing twice as often. I believe it's due to the fact the midget porn kinda short changes you on how much woman you get to see. You gotta double up on that shit.

Let's for a minute assume you are correct and they can not analyze it today. They will have the algorithms and computing power tomorrow and the data will wait.
Is that going to be at the same time that the country has enough electricity generation capabilities and charging points nationwide to ban diesel and gasoline powered automobiles?

Like with electricity use, the amount of data collected grows exponentially every year. If they can't do it now, they won't in the future, not at the current rate of growth. Unless they have a reason to look at you, there simply isn't the capability to monitor you, nor will there ever be.

But it's easy to ignore these small realities,.same as it's easy to cry about things whilst not realising realities. And that's why they're doing the best psy-ops op ever, they have you believing they can do things they can't.

And we reach the point where you show you cannot argue a simple, tiny, factor that destroys the argument you thought you had, the point where you play the man instead of the ball, the point where nothing of relevance is said because you cannot argue such a simple, tiny, point.

I deal in realities, not fantasies. I know the governments of several countries have records on me thanks to things like security clearance, I also know that they have the capability to get more about me at will if they feel the need to. But I also know how interested they will be in a disabled old fart who grows his own weed for personal, medical, reasons. Same in the US, where things are complicated further by the sheer volume of devices out there.

No, Government likes to make you THINK they can do all sorts of things, the bottom line is they don't need to because, first, people are stupid enough to believe it, second, stupid enough to leave things like geolocation services on and post screenshots showing location, and third, stupid enough to give all the necessary on social media and to assorted companies which the government can simply buy in the same way the UK Labour party has just been caught after illegally buying the personal data of a million pregnant women for a targeted mailshot in the run up to the last election. Yet people still happily hand over such info for sale, and allow themselves to have almost every action recorded by businesses thanks to smart devices, think not one jot about the nasty apps and programs on their device that are transmitting everything because they picked up malware while watching midget porn, yet howl about the government not actually having the ability to monitor everything they allow faceless corporations, and worse, to monitor anyway.

As I say, a great example of psy-ops, but they did need something because they had finally milked Roswell for all it was worth.
