So I wana grow organic by composting apple cores and banana peels etc...
and mixing into my soil for nutes.

Will this work? What else should be involved?

How should I mix it in my soil?

You need to start yourself a compost. Dont throw those apple cores into your soil. They are too acidic.

I am not sure what your situation is. You might want to elaborate on that. What sort of facility do you have to house a compost. It might make it easier for us to help you on how to make one.

You have the right idea. But the composted material will only make up about 25% of your soil mix.

Also the mix that you will be added to your soil will already be composted. Not just raw organic matter. I have a nature mill. They work really well. Then i just have a bucket...er ....tub that i empty it into. Add my organic nutes and guanos and let sit to cure until planting time. Also this tub is a great place to adjust PH.

You need to buy or construct a compost bin and then throw your items in there, turn it every once in a while and after a while it decomposes and becomes compost :)

i dont have any composting bin yet. I need to make one. I'm actually in the m iddle of my first ever grow and im not using organics.

But my next go with it i thought it would be good to try.

When using compost do you still need to use other nutes? or just keep adding compost?

you will still need other nutes. Pots appetite is enormous. What the compost will give you is badly need organic matter, trace minerals, and micro bacteria which all are essential to growing a beautiful organic garden.

Maybe you should look at worm composting. Its great, doesn't smell that much and the worm castings are excellent for your grow.

You'll get nutes that are organic. Worm castings, bat guano, sea kelp, greensand, rock phospate just to name a few. These you will add to your compost, perlite, coco mix.

Good luck with your grow. Switching to organics early is a the right idea. Learn it proper the first time.!!
