Compost tea advice needed?

Heloo People, i have been looking up a bunch of posts n stuff regarding organic teas n been contemplating making some kind of tea with resources i can get a hold of .
ive been debaiting using free compost supplied at the dump and mix it with some molasses then brew it for a few weeks in a bucket with an air pump.

Would this develop beneficial microbes and bacteria for the soil if i diluted it with water.
Ive read alot of recipes on the forum tht sound amaizing with alot of scientific explanation behind them. But ive also been told you can chop up a bunch of stinging nettles brew them with a little mollasses n thtl be a great tea of microbes and nitrogen.

Pretty much a noob when it comes to composting and using organic materials, Any help or advice wood be awsome

To lazy to find the thread but Heisberg or something like that posted a nice recipe. My results with it -> 24-48Hour brew time.

ZHO Powder, Ancient Forest, Aqua Shield, and your good old molasses. A little search you'll be able to find the thread and the amounts he recommends. Good luck!

sweet yeah al give it a search man, Theirs a good few recipes on herr tht all sound briliant, am jst reeli woundering if the compost i was thinking of using with the molasses would work, for just adding microbes n shit to give the soil more life to uptake nutrients abit better.

I'd recommend sticking with the recipe I just gave you, you seriously cannot go any better. Its like 70 bucks of supplies and you'll be brewing your own tea for atleast a year on that. I did for 2 years on 1gal of aqua shield(35$) one qp of zho power ($30) and ancient forest(12$). What you do is put the ancient forest(Alaskan Humus with 35,000 different beneficial microbes) in a sock with a air stone, then an airstone in the bucket. so 2 airstones total, 48hours max. And thats the strongest tea you'll ever run into, it does miracles. And is cheap cheap cheap. Best recipe you'll ever find bud, Advanced nutrients will sell you some junk with a sliver of whats in this and sell it for 100 bucks lol

5 gal bucket, couple (or one strong one) aquarium air stones/pump;

5gal water
1 cup of (preferably) earth worm castings/compost
2 or 3 Tbsp molasses

bubble for 24hrs

simple and very good!

Start with this, try your dump compost and if your plants are happy then awesome, if not then maybe there's something suspect in the dumps compost, which honestly i would not want it. large bag of worm castings, $20 or $30 and can last a very long time if all you're doing is making teas with it.

Nettle "tea" is great, as is alfalfa, comfrey, horsetail

throw in a small scoop of alfalfa when you bubble your tea and watch how much your plants love that shit, amazing stuff alfalfa is!

Good advice guys... keep it coming !! any good threads to a DIY brewer? I am looking to do one in the 5-10 gallon range if possible

i have just started using the heisenberg tea and its brilliant. i use different ingrediants but the same idea and my plants love it. just scored some alfalfa meal too so that is going in the mix next time too

vCheers for the help guyz, Im defos gonnah move upto a good quality tea at some point, the one youve suggesteds awsome. I will probably try sum dumpcompost to see if ive hit some free gold in the meantime tho lol,
