Ouch, that's fucking harsh. Mods are like cops - Turn your back when they pass by and pretend nothing fun is going on. Continue the party once they have left.
Talk back to them and they will over extend their power and make you regret it.
I like to look at it from both sides.
The users side: It is fun to talk trash sometimes, hell, I've done it. I have my bad days.
And, rules are made to be broken.
The admin side: As a web designer, and as someone who is currently setting up a site just like this for people to talk cannabis,
slightly different, not trying to compete, but creating something totally new. Still working on it..... I have talked with my web
host for hours about what kind of content can be and what can not be posted. There are rules the site has to follow, and some
laws as well. Rules are there for a reason. So I can understand the bans. Because RIU has to be hosted somewhere. RIUs web
host can shut down the website if the web hosts tos are violated. I'm sure threats are there. I've been doing web designing for
years, and know the web host's tos inside and out. They're all pretty much the same.
So I can understand both sides. It is sad to see some of the people go. But, at the same time, the people that got banned knew
that they could get banned by doing what they were doing.
