Commercial growing

Odor is an issue some people. Some it is not. As far as "Commercial", this would be a first as far as one large scale location instead of several smaller locations. So I am not asking how but more on any issues someone has ran into when starting out a large scale grow of this scale. Im not saying I am a 30 year commercial grower or that I have done a large scale grow. I am asking if anyone else has done this.... There is a transition and a gap that I am trying to breach and just looking for some help. I thought I could get some input on this here. Not a beginner but a beginner as far as a large warehouse grow. I have worked in large grows but never had my own. So I am not looking to impress anyone or fish for anything but information about what others may have done. No bad feeling or chest bumping. The industry is great, being green is great, and the people are great. Thanks!

One way to maybe keep smell to a minimum would be to do rooms inside the warehouse. Build your own on the open floor space. Run super sealed and scrub with a couple filters. Just an example would be build 2 27 foot x 27 foot rooms. put 12 lamps in each room. Get 4 3 ton splits 2 for each room. co2 generators. Good size dehumidifiers. Go get some peat soilless, get some 10 or 15 gallon pots through on the floor and call it a day. Keep those scrubbers going and you will probably win. Just an example, but theres guys on this site who can build rooms better then me so they'd help you.

Can 150s with 12 inch can fans and sealed rooms put out such little smell you pretty much have to open the door to catch a wiff. Running fresh air in the other hand, smells like a skunk factory no matter what you do IMO.

So if a place is making burgers and fries, they should have a carbon filter to prevent it from smelling up the whole neighborhood. (or risk alerting the smell police)

Sorry, I know this post is worthless!! Laws can be so stupid.

So you would recommend CO2 "generators" over supplemented pressurized CO2? As far as Dehumidifiers...that was another issue I was thinking I would run into. Do you recommend any commercial brands? I know a construction AC/Dehumidifier would work but I'm not keen on the massive loud construction dehumidifier/humidifier/AC controller.

Yes generator, i don't remember the cubic foot of where its time to use generator over bottled co2. @Carolina Dream'n know the dehumidifiers you'll need. I just run 2 70 pint small ones. Im not following what your saying about massive loud construction.

I hope we see pics of this operation once it is actually going. Let us know. You can get them up without location tags.

The construction style I'm talking about are massive units that are moved into an area under construction when the AC is out...like if they renovated a floor on a hospital. These units are about 100 gallon ac/humid/dehumidifiers. They are loud and big but work well for large areas...

This thread reeks a lot like that other thread recently where the guy wanted tips on how to set up a$40k grow, eventhough he had supposedly financed grows of the same scale.

It wasnt long before the questions he was asking made it obvious he hadnt grown anything before...

This thread has asked some more intellige t questions, but....still smells the same...

How many lamps are you going to start with? Im still not understanding the loud noise you speak of.

He's talking about a large portable self contained AC units for cooling large spaces. Think portable, as in it just fits on a semi flatbed trailer. They're effective. They are very loud.
