commercial dehumidifier

Anyone have any experience in making this upgrade. I currently have a residential frigidaire 70 pint model(has the best reviews). Now that summer is here, it needs to be emptied 3 plus times per day instead of once(or less in winter). Today i will set it up to pump out automatically....no issue there. It just has me wondering if a commercial unit is more efficient? If it's going to be running that much, is there a better option? I'm not afraid to spend money, it;'s just hard to find info/reviews/specs on commercial units.

I used to run a haier 71 pint with auto pump feature. I never emptied my bucket in 6 months of running a sealed co2 room. The auto pump will pump waiter automatically upto 16' vertically and into your drain. Coat was 245 with 3yr ext warranty thru home depot

Aprilaire 1770a just picked up off the side of the road, its fucking incredible the amount of water it pulls is insane. It hardly needs to run its got so many adjustments and fail safes its crazy. Plus all the name brand parts, lg compressor, quality build inside and out I will never switch back, but I would never have spent 1700 or whatever mine costs no way its just to much $$ for a dehumidifier.

Most commercial dehumidifiers are more efficient. They also will post wattage and water removed from the air at aham and usually water pulled at different temps.

What commercial dehumidifiers, LGR specifically, can pull a lot more water at lower temps. Instead of a box store dehumidifers coils freezing up all the time.

Good commercial brands are made in the USA, compared to china disposable ones.

Cleanliness is important, and cleaning a box store dehumidifier is almost impossible. Using a 70 pint supentown running for two years the coil and interior drain pan were caked with mold and caused water to drip everywhere except the bucket.

Also a lot of commercial dehumidifers are loud and big, so be ready for that, but you can some that can be ducted or ceiling mounts.

Only major downside is price lol. I'd say if your up to running 2 65 or 70 pint dehumidifiers simultaneously, its time to start looking at commercial ones.
