The successful candidate is an organized, forward-thinking person with the ability to work under little supervision, with a background in wellness, health, naturopathy, and/or alternative medicines. You must be able and willing to learn very specific details, including medical terms, about medicinal cannabis and deliver effective key messages to potential patients, while maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality to medical matters.
Key Job Description: You will be responsible for driving a branded truck & trailer across Canada as a Mobile Clinic, with the purpose of giving knowledge about and providing access to and medical cannabis. You will be stopping at specific cities, events, and locations to "spread the word" and draw patients into the mobile clinic, where you are available to deliver key messages and/or book them in for consultations with our onsite Health Care Practitioners.
Important Notes: This program is 100% legal and run strictly under the rules and laws of Canada. Please do not apply if you are uncomfortable with or offended by medical cannabis. There will be NO PRODUCT onsite. You will be dealing with sensitive/private information and will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Please understand that you will be driving across Canada for 2.5 months, camping overnight in between cities.
DATES: June 4 -- August 17, 2016 (exact dates TBA) + Training on May 31st
LOCATIONS: Starting in Vancouver -- driving across Canada with stops in 37 cities
HOURS: Full time; 11:00 am -- 7:00 pm daily onsite PLUS driving time (exact times TBA)
PAY: $3600 / month x 2.5 months as a contractor, paid semi-monthly, TOTAL = $9000+ $50/day per diem for meals, TOTAL = $3750 *You will be reimbursed 100% for all fuel, parking, and campsite fees
Job Responsibilities:
-Deliver correct wording on key messages and answer patient questions on medical cannabis
-Book consultations for our Health Care Practitioners
-Coordinate event details, logistics, and scheduling changes
-Coordinate camping logistics & locations
-Navigate driving across Canada, using specific routes
-Communicate with our Internal Staff daily
-Daily reporting, statistics, and pictures
-Post event reporting
Requirements:
-Possess Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence, with clean driving record
-Be comfortable driving a truck with a trailer across Canada, ensuring on time arrival at each location
-Must 25 years of age or older
-Comfortable leading a team
-Conduct self in a professional manner, in a medical setting
-Understand the sensitivity and confidentiality of the subject matter
-Extremely organized and detail oriented
-Problem-solver
-Must be able and willing to camp in between cities
-Must have own laptop & cell phone with GPS, WiFi Hub will be provided
